Mallyfleas 2 years on Tony Ferguson

Well, as you all know by now I started my journey on the 1st. January 2006 weighing in at 97 kilos!
I happened across the forum and may I say it is where I found the most fantastic bunch of people who made me feel welcome, and who encouraged and inspired me to continue to my journeys end which came on the 1st.July 2006 new weight 66 kilos shedding 31 kilos…by the years end I weighed 61 kilos another 5 kilos shed on Maintenance…
I had, since then stayed pretty well there for 14 months, then I started to stray over to “The Dark Side” and paid the penalty of weight “Gain”! gasp! I hear you say LOL, yes even I can sway every now and again, gained nearly 6 kilos for my sins argh!!!!! Started back on 1 shake a day to get myself back into shape again and my dear friend Froggie challenged me to see who could get to 65 first, it was an unfair advantage on my behalf as I had the least to lose, but I have to say it was a great idea as it motivated so many others to join us and it turned into the best thing we’ve done so far, a lot of people lost weight by giving it that extra push and so many of them reached early goals, mini goals or just felt better for the want of trying, so may I take this opportunity to
Hail Froggie as she is one hell of a motivator here on the forum, always coming up with new ideas for more mini challenges to keep the spirits up and the fun a plenty, dieting on the forum is the bestest place I know, glad to have found it and glad to be part of it now and for a long time to come…

From 97 kilos to a now healthy and steady 65-66 kilos

Froggie, you truly are inspirational. You always say things that are so positive and motivated, and you're such a cheerful person. I haven't been here very long, but the forum posts by you and Mally are what kicked me into joining, and I don't regret a single second of my TF experience, compared to other diets which always seem to not work out.

Mally, wow 2 years is awesome, and I think you're a wonderful inspiration, especially to someone who is only just starting out. I hope you enjoy your holiday!

To everyone, have a safe and happy holiday season, regardless of religion, belief or experience. I look forward to continuing our TF journey in the new year.
