losing weight during winter is heaps easier if u have a stationary bike or an elliptical trainer, with the combo of the tf "diet", u can get warm, and than have a nice hot shower, and don't have to worry about even going outside for a long walk especially if its cold out, or unsafe where you live, or you like to avoid small minded people who yell out nasty things to you just because you're not a size 6.. plus if you get too hot, you can just take off your clothes!!! i love the fact I don't need to dress up!!!

Also what would be really nice is to just be able to pull on a pair of jeans and a nice shirt when heading out, instead of going thru my wardrobe every time trying to find something that doesn't make me look like a whale.

Same as that!  Everytime I go to get dressed to go out I get depressed and feel yucky and old.
I am NOT buying new clothes until I need smaller ones!

First goal - under 80kgs by 16 August (friends wedding)   12 Aug - 79.4!!!

Losing weight is easier for me in the summer as I have less of an appetite and am more active.  In the winter I am cold and wanting comfort food.  I also feel more like baking and being a homebody in winter.

What keeps me going this winter is the fact that I've gained back all of the weight that I had lost by this time last year.  I feel so bloated and out of control.  I've been eating soups as I have problems with my fluid intake in the winter and they are so filling.  I've just recently re-re-re-started

I found it harder to use the TF program in the winter also.  I rather enjoyed the salads, but it was really hard to have the salads when it was cold.  I hope to get back into the program this week, and hopefully drop 5kg by 1st October, and then another 5kg by 1st November etc.  I would love to wear a dress or a sleeveless top during the warmer months.

The seasons are changing here in the states too, and autumn crept up on us and now suddenly it's much easier to get out and walk anytime of day.  It is so hot and humid here in South Carolina during the summer that the thought of exercising is tiring as it is!

I'm looking forward to continuing on the TF diet all winter long, taking advantage of the limitless veggie soup and heating up my chocolate shakes for hot cocoa.  By the time the weather gets warmer, I hope to need a whole new wardrobe!

Well

It is the 1st October and I did not reach my goal of losing 5 kg.  I have had ups and downs on the program.  I go really good for a few days and then suddenly have to have something sweet because I am tired.  Or I stand on the scales and having lost no weight or very little and then begin to think that I am wasting my time. I have to find ways to change my mind set, and start having positive thoughts.  Can anyone help me with this problem, I get down on myself regularly and I don't think it is helping me lose weight sometimes I think it is an hindrance.

Cheers
