I have only been on the TF program for a week and for my first week I followed religiously and lost 3kgs but now i am starting to slip a bit.

I keep thinking "oh ill just have this little bit and it wont make that much difference"

I really really really want this TF to work as i just looked at the before and after pics on this forum and the girls look AMAZING...i want that to be me!!!

Does anyone have any helpful hints that can get me out of my premature slump.

Thanks guys!!!!

xxxxx

Hi Steph.

The easiest advice I have for you is to stop thinking you are about to fall and launch yourself into your weight loss campaign with absolute vigour every day. It's not easy, we all know that but it is essential for your good health and self-esteem. Positivity towards your journey goes a long way to get you there. Project each day with a positive attitude... you know you can do one day... that's all it takes, one day at a time, then another, then another.

Put your goals in front of your face. Look at your before photo and ask yourself if you want to remain like that or is there something else you wish to be? you'll know the answer..... it's really only a decision away. Good luck and stay strong.

I held on to that exhilaration I felt after getting on the scales at day 4 and seeing a loss and then my first weigh in I was stoked, never had I lost weight on a diet that easily, I had to sweat it out at gyms for 500gm loss and just about starve myself.  Every time I have a disappointing week with a small loss, I look over my losses for the past months and look at the big picture, that gets me over a disappointing week.  Make small goals to begin with, just a couple of kilos.  I wanted a 5kg blinkie so bad. Silly really but that was my first goal and reward.

Too get the blinkies and pictures Mallyflea was lovely and made a post to help get us all started  http://forum.tonyferguson.com/Topic257082-3-1.aspx Hope that helps. If you look up some of her other posts she has all sorts of blinkies available to use.

final goal, Christmas  to be 65kg or less

I'm in my 2nd week and although i am finding it far easier than the first week i think i am starting to slip as well!!! i am losing track of the things that i eat (have a bite of this here and there or i miss a shake etc!) and am starting to worry that my intentions for starting TF have changed over the past 2 weeks(from health reasons to aesthetic)-which is NOT the way i want to go (at the end i really am doing for my health but can't help thinking about what i will look like after i have dropped 35 - 50kg)!!! i am a little worried about weigh-in tomorrow but i really want this to work as well!!

I think i will take the idea of the food diary and see how i go with that!

hopefully those of you who are further along can inspire and re-motivate people like me who just feel like giving up!

maybe the stress of life is starting to take a hold of us who are only babies on the program!

all is good and i guess tomorrow is a new day! with new goals and a new outlook

Have a good week ahead every1

Take Care
Phil
