Hi Bigboy,

I gave up smoking about a year ago and put on 10kgs. Now I'm on TF to lose that 10. i dont think you can do both at once and I think you should kick the fags first because you are bound to gain weight just because your metabolism will slow down.

Good luck

Lisa

Hi Woody,

I am having heaps of decaf with lite milk everyday. Do you know of a milk substitute? I really love my coffee.

Week 1 - lost 3.1kg and 4.1cm off my waist

Week 2 - lost 1.4kg and 5cm off my waist

Week 3 - lost 2.2kg and 2.5cm off my waist

Week 4 - gained 200g but lost 4.5cm off my waist (on holidays for a week and also had my period - felt very bloated)

Week 5 - lost 2kg and 2cm off my waist

Week 6 - lost 800g and 2cm off my waist (I think this is due to having soy sauce and dressings on salads, also had a business lunch at a Morrocan restaurant and there were CARBS!!!!)

Hi Witchita

I am not 100% positive - but perhaps you might be drinking too much water and maybe retaining some, try talking to the staff about water retention

A good tip that I find helpful is to imagine the weight lost as tubs of margarine. If you are disappointed in only losing, say, 500 grams, try to visualise the contents of a tub of margarine spread within your body, coating your vital organs and clogging up your arteries. That 500g weightloss means it's gone.

Just on a different tack, I only want to lose a total of 7kg (regained since I left the program 2 years ago). But after 3kg, I seem to have stalled and have remained the same 3 weeks running. I'm going to persist, but do others with only a comparatively small loss to go experience this problem?

I am regularly consuming alot of junk food. I understand that this is not exactly the right thing to do but it is so darn good! I am never losing weight though it sucks because i regularly walk from my door to letterbox... and to my car from the woolies exit... its just not fair. and wow how good is the new cadbury icecream!!!!!!!!!!!
