Thanks Sweets, I did fall off the rails over Christmas and recovering from that. I'm back into now though (again lol) and feel focussed and confident that what I'm doing will work out.

Just reading through my thread from the first to last again this morning. It's really helped me today to ensure I stay on track *as I head out to brunch later eek* so I can share new piccies in time to come. I'm not very happy about the Christmas one, but it's a good reminder to me to look once in a while.

Anyway, thought I'd let you all know I'm back in the groove and slowly but surely the scales are heading down again. Might be a little while before I can show a change but it will happen.

I'm currently back to 2 shakes a day and ensuring the other meal is *mostly* healthy.

What would I do without you all :O) mwah!

SANDRA....I believe that (in my opinion) that whatever YOU put your mind to, YOU will achieve. After cruising the forum since I began my TF Journey (approx 6.5 months ago), I have followed everyones' progress and you strike me as a positive, strong will & minded woman. If it takes a complete end of a decade and a beginning of a fresh new one, with the Love here and YOUR inner strength, YOU will succeed.

I only wish that before now I had just one ounce of your confidence and self esteem. I would have taken on the TF Challenge a long time ago. But they say never to late, HEY.

Suffice to say that YOU have the right attitude and I as well as the rest of the TF family are behind you 100 percent.

Thanks for your kind words girls, I know I'm an ever-riding roller-coaster and it's nice to have your support. Pretty disgusted with myself but I know what to do as I've been eating "whatever I like" over the last 3 months with no regard for nutrition let alone calories. I find sticking to any plan 100% for months and months on end absolutely exhausting (not to mention a little unsociable), but to jump off for over 3 months has horrifying consequences. Live and learn I hope.

Thanks again I hope to get back into a plan 1st Jan and not slide for more than a day here or there... not months.

Really hope to post a positive photo/note in a couple of months time again.

You should be so proud of yourself in showing your courage in your weight loss journey.

I have had many ups and downs in recent years to get to where I am now. I have fallen off the wagon, got up off the floor, brushed off the dust and on with it again.

Admitting this in public takes a huge amount of bravery and I commend you for doing so. We are all here to support you as we all follow our own journey.

Good luck in 2010, I know you can do it as you have shown your courage in wanting to win this challenge.

Well from September to today 26th December 2009 I have gained over 7kgs (edit... I can't count it's closer to 9!!)

Updated photo after seeing the horrible Christmas snap and starting over 1st Jan after the festivities are well and truly over. Even though I'm still 7kg better off than my heaviest I feel quite revolting tired and ugly today.

Looking forward to finding my face again... then my waistline....then my butt!

You are doing such an awesome job love. And regarding the above, I know how you feel. I look at my starting photo and wonder how I moved at all let alone go outside looking like I did. I too barely recognise the gal in the starting photo. I thought, at this point, it would be "the lesser" version that I wouldn't know. Odd isn't it O_O

It's weird, I have such a long way to go and yet I don't recognise that girl in the first pic anymore either!... can't believe I even left the house looking like that (or got through the door!).

I'm feeling heaps happier and the support I get from this forum is a major contributor to that.

Would just like to share a couple of photo's. Photo on the left is at my heaviest of 144.1kgs 2nd photo taken today at 128.2kgs and feeling sooooo much better. What a difference 15kg makes :o) Taken quite some time to find my mojo again but here it is.............

EDIT: the other photo I was actually around 138kg ooops...here I am at 144.1kg with the beautiful Bill Rancic (Donald Trumps 1st Apprentice).

Hi Sandra, I'm Anne and I started three weeks ago and I have lost an awesome 7.9kg in my first three weeks. Seeing your losses is inspiring and I know that it can be done you are looking Great and must feel so much better for it. I already feel the difference and can not wait to lose more. I also know that I won't always have such big losses but as I say and I have noticed a lot of other people have the same attitude, that a loss is a loss and it's in the right direction. DOWN! Thanks everyone - I had to come back to this page today to refresh as I've been a bit stinky today.

I also found a photo of me wearing the very same top in October 2007 as the one I'm wearing with the horse. This top is loose and floaty (as it should be) you'll see how it was totally stuck to my fat rolls before and how round my face was eee! Thought I'd share (all photo's on the first page)

Must get back into it tomorrow. I really needed to see these pics today to remind myself that I have made some effort and must continue my journey.
