Well now to get back into it all. I have, as of Monday the 12th started back on the one shake a day program. Today being Wednesday getting back into the routine of dieting again. I have four weeks to loose the extra couple of kilos before my engagement party which is on valentines day. I will be doing a lot of exercise as I would like to tone up my wobbly belly for my beautiful dress so I will be consuming a little more carbs and protein to feed the body and muscle, I have decided to have a bowl of cereal each morning the shake for lunch and then cook a nice healthy meal for dinner. I know all the golden rules of not what to have, as we all do, it is just getting your mind back into it all. This time round though my partner is also watching what he eats as he has never had to watch his weight before, but now with getting that little bit older he has put on 8 kilos and it is all around his tummy. It is funny to listen to his excuses of trying to get out of walking and not eating what he wants, it is keeping me honest with humor.

I think I may join the valentines challenge to keep me momotivatednd honest.;);)

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

Fantastic Treasure, you're in control that's great, keep us updated withyour progress, and its lovely to hear from you hun XX

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

hi everyone , i have been naughty since two days before christmas, and have gained 6kg, but i weighed in today after one week on a few cals lower than maintenance, i have lost 2kg, i was going to go back on 2 shakes a day , but i think i keep trying like this and see how i go, if i stop losing, then it's back on 2 shakes again for me, is skinny di still around? and doing well, can anyone ley me know, as both her and mally were so good to me during maintaince, but silly me had to go and blow all my good work, well thats life!!! hugs to all Treasure
;):D:):cool::D:D:D

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

WoW!! you're doing so well yourself, great effort over the xmas period :O)

youo are soooooooooooo close now, Good Luck with Goal XX

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

Hi all, I am approx 3kgs from goal and have been reading your posts. Work has been chaos and my computer has been kidnapped by the teenage daughter. I took my daughter to Bali in September and we had a fantastic time, both of us lost weight over there which was a bonus, we kept to the healthy choice and lots of water and gatorade for the heat. I have now maintained my goal weight since June this year. I seem to fluctuate between 69 kilos and 70 kilos, if I see my weight creep up I put on the brakes and make a few more sensible choices, seems to work. Have also now started running in the gym, I am upto 30 minutes on the treadmill. I never in my dreams would have thought that I would be running, I used to watch the gym junkies on there and think them all mad, now I love it. The regular excersise also helps me maintain my weight. So all is good with Medusa.:hehe:

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

just thought i would let you know how my first week at maintenance has gone: I am loving it:D and have managed to drop 300gm which is a bonus:)

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

Its only end of day 4 but I think it is helping, sometimes there is an improvement & then in the second week more symptoms(so I've been told) so a way to go yet. And then we start reintroducing foods to see what the triggers are, this will be a process! I am glad we have a dietician helping it can be really full on & she will email an answer within 24hrs to any question(my last email it was only a couple of hrs later) and I can call if it is more urgent. So it has been a bit hard to think of what he can eat/we should be eating! I am sure that once we are in the swing of it it will be easier, I feel bad that I seem to say no a lot(and he really misses his tomato sauce) but today he was cool with it compared to Days 1 & 2 where we had angry outbursts because he couldn't have stuff.

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

Awesome news klutzy, is it helping your son?

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

I am just popping in to say I am travelling OK, the scales have headed downwards. I mean 1 day every week or every second week.
I suppose it's much easier for me as I don't drink achol as I no you like your red wine ;) and I say that in the kindest way not meaning that you over indulge sweety.

Well I will report in torromow and let you guys no how I'm going and maybe you can dothe same ah.

Cheers

SkinnyDi

xx

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

Di its good to see you back, having enjoyed yourself. I am sneaking a quick look today. Things are great for muah and I have been able to maintain my weight between 69 - 70 kilos, which I am very happy about. Of course on the Saturdays that I weigh in at 69 I am very happy and those weekends I have bacon and eggs on the Sunday. I go to the gym three times a week and my fitness has increased and I feel fantastic. I leave to go to Bali in two weeks with my daughter so the pending holiday keeps me on track. Di good to see that you have a lost a few extra kilos for your holiday, come on sunshine!!!!!! Take care everyone and I hope to get my computer fixed soon so I can chat again.

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

Bumped up

RE: CLUB MAINTENANCE

Hi everyone,

I just thought I would pop in and see how everyone is doing.
Well I'm going really well at the moment because I'm focus on going on holidays come September, I really think that you need a goal every so often to keep on track so every few months I have a goal so the holidays are working for me at the moment and when we come home the following weekend I'm having a 60th Birthday Party for my hubby and than comes Xmas and than New Years Eve so there you have it, so I'm right for this year.

Let me no what your goals are that you have planed for yourself to keep on track, we may be able to help one another out when times get tuff.
Just a thought.:)

Let me no how you feel about this;)

Cheers
SkinnyDi xx
