Ok so i have a ticker as my signiture but now have lost weight this week, So I was just wondering how to update my ticker with my new weightloss amount.

Some times, clicking unsubscribe from the notification email does not work - you might get a message "nothing to unsubscribe from".

Log into the forum, click on Control Panel, then scroll down the left hand side to subscriptions, where you can select any and all that you may wish to unsubscribe from.

I think I posted in the wrong place before, but just wandering if any app has been made as yet? It would be so easy to track everything without having a seperate diary for this! Too much paper doesnt help the environment and I try not to use too much.

As you can see the site is up....A BIG THANK YOU TO GREG!!!

There are your usual bugs that are being sprayed at the moment,lol

Now about your personal avatars and certain graphics have disappeared this is due to server change and because the images are uploaded from your comp and not hosted elsewhere so to put them back just do what you guys did at the begining.

Its more the straight from your comp ones that didnt transfer the others should of made the travel ok :D:D:D

For some reason I can't access some of the pages on people's posts. For example I went to the bunny challenge this morning and I can't access pages 21 and 22 but I can get 23. When I click on it , it comes up as a black screen. Is this because of my computer?

To add a new post
find the section in the Home page that you want to post into (eg, Introductions),
go into there & press “Add Topic”
To reply to a post that someone else has made,
just press "Reply" on that post.

Putting anything into Signature

Your Profile and click on

Edit Signature

Do whatever you have to do, models, blinkies etc.,

Update

Tracking your own posts or posts by others…..

Click on your own name (or anyone else’s name)

There on the right-hand side you will see…….

Show all posts by this member...

Find all topics this member has participated within..
click on either one…...

To get the 'blog' button at the bottom of your posts
*Control panel,
*Your Profile
*Contact Details
and either paste the url of your homepage or Blog info to:
*Homepage url or

*Blog url

*And Save…….

To put an excel spreadsheet weight loss in your signature…

Fill in your spreadsheet with your details

take a "print Screen" of it..

there is a button/key on your keyboad somewhere that says Print screen... press it..

open paint (or whatever graphic program you have) and click paste...

then edit it and save as a jpeg...

then you can easily post it in your signature box...

just repeat this each time you edit it (weekly etc.,)

Putting any picture or Blinkie into Signature

Right click on picture/blinkie and copy, then go to where you want to put it (say your signature) and paste or………..

click save image as and save it to your computer,

left click on the mountain icon with a red sun in your page

Browse your files for the picture,

click open

then add image and it should appear on the page...
don't forget to update twice.....

If you can’t use the mountain icon,

you need to right click and save image as onto your computer, then….

open a photobucket account it's FREE at http://photobucket.com/ once you have an account,

simply Browse your files and select the picture,

upload the picture....
when it appears in it's own box

left click on the IMG Code (copied should be highlighted) then go back to your signature page and paste,

don't forget to update twice.....

or....

if you have Firefox get yourself this add on button it will make your life so much easier on TF site

when installed right click on the firefox button down the righthand side of your screen and this box will come up

click add and every time you come on TF it will aoutomatically turn on.

it will turn off as you leave the site...

Tickers/Trackers:ADDING & MAKING UPDATES!

Okay first step go to the site to make your ticker:
www.tickerfactory.com
Click on the link above and then click on weight loss it will open to the tickers.
Now choose your ticker click next.....
choose your ticker mover click next....
it will show your starting weight(put what you are or were)....
current weight(put yours in even if its the same as your starting weight)....
goal weight(put what you want to be) and click next.
Now you should see what your ticker will look like
and below that a whole heap of codes
all you need is the bbcode
so highlight it copy it and come back here to the TF site.
Now go to the control panel link at top click on that....
now down the left side you will see edit signature click on that.....
now you should have a space,
paste what you copied from the ticker site into that space.....
now at the bottom hit update(the page will refresh itself but you will see nothing)
hit update again(this time you should see your ticker & that should be it.

IMPORTANT:
UPDATING TICKERS>>>>....
so all you need to do then is each week when you weigh in
is click on your ticker and it will take you back to tickerfactory,
put your pin in and click update and change your weight,
fill in your new date anc click next,
it should take you back to the finished updated ticker
and presto there is your new one that is as far as you have to go
as it will change over in the forum automatically.....
refresh your page to see it…..

just Google Virtual Models if these don’t work..the sites have a habbit of moving,
you just have to do a bit of a search...I have found these 2 to be working fine...

once you make your models ( 1 before and 1 after)
right click on the pictures and save as to your computer files where you save pictures
then come back to edit signature (in the control panels)
and using the little icon with what looks like a red sun over the right hand side of a mountain,
click on this and browse your files where you saved them and bring them in 1 at a time
(hint..keep the cursor beside the first one so when you bring in the second one it will sit besdie it)
don't forget to click update twice :O)

For turning off other peoples signature…

Go into control panel (up the right top side of the screen) and then into forum settings,
and then untick show signatures.

Also for dial up people taking the signatures off can make it quicker.

For the correct time for your area….

scroll down to Choose Time Zone

GMT + 10:00 Eastern Australia , Guam, Vladivostok (right time for Victoria )
there is a drop down menu, find the one for your part of Australia NZ etc.,

To empty pm folders

control panel
Inbox and tick box at side of ones you want to delete
scroll down to bottom there will be an empty drop down box with another box beside it that says with selected....
highlight move to delete
go back to sent Items and do the same
go to empty pm folders and click on the deleted items box
and then click on empty selected…
it will ask if this is what you want to do, if all if correct click ok

Then upload as an attactchment in Signature

And change it weekly

(remove old one and upload new one)

To add an atatchment….

Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you see POST OPTIONS

There you will see EDIT ATTATCHMENTS button

Click on this and browse..uplaod

Close the window…and wollah!!!!!

To Subscribe or Unsubscribe

when you make a post/reply, before clicking on post reply scroll to the bottom to where you see the following

Topic Subscription Notification Type

Click on the arrow and select immediate notification of new posts by email.

Hi there,

I'd like to get notifications sometimes for some topics but am drowning if I get them come to my InBox. I notice the option to have a notification to a list but where do I find the list to see the posts/notifications in it?

I did try this option to see if I could find the list once I had notifications in it, but still couldn't find it. Probably just blind but please enlighten me?

Some forums notify you of the first new post only to a thread so you can read from there forward. Is that an option?

Hi I made a new account as my old one I hadn't used since 2006 or 2007 and couldn't remember the log in details. I've now found the details and want to update the old account with my new email address but because I created this new account with new email address I can't update old account.

Hi,

I was wondering whether someone could help me with upload my pic to my profile.

I notice that mine is a lot smaller in proportion to others out there in the forums. I have tried uploading the same image via the Avarta(?) and via the personal pic but neither of them seem to do it?

Has someone else had the same issue and found out how to fix it?

I want a good photo too! :D

I have noticed over the last month or so a lot more fellas logging on and the first thing they ask is-are there any other blokes on here? May I suggest we provide a post that is pinned and clearly states its for the fellas so they can offer the right kind of support, etc. to each other? Otherwise they just get lost in the posts by us women :P

Also will save time for them trauling through the forum trying to find other lads.

Hey there :) I'm having a bit of trouble and was wondering if I can get some help. I tried to update my avvie to a new one, and it won't animate on the TF forum. I've tried uploading it from my machine directly and also from photobucket (where it's animated fine when veiwed in firefox or exploder) and it doesn't move. I'm baffled!

I had a moving gif working fine before, so I have no idea why several different other ones won't work. It's the right size and the gif itself isn't that large so I can't work it out!

For the last two days I've been unable to reply to people's posts..... An error message pops up saying:

"You don't have the neccessary permissions to access the requested page. It's likely the forum administrator has restricted access to this feature."

I'm getting a complex!!!! Have i been bad :unsure: ??? WHY AREN'T YOU LETTING ME PLAY TOO :crying: ??? LOL

If someone could look into this for me that would be great :)
