What cheeses me off -

Having a birthday, being very pleased (almost excited) to receive the new Jamie Oliver recipe book to complete my collection - and having someone scoff and say "Now, Now, Now, Is there anything in those books that you can cook"?.  Further questioning reveals that she meant while I am on TF - does she think that I am going to be dieting for the rest of my life!!!!!!!!!!!  AND those books have so much more to them that just the recipes!

Starting date - 31/10/06 - 88kgs (6 weeks - now 81.5 kgs)

Ok, here I go....

1. Shops that do not take prams into consideration and stack displays up in the middle of the aisles or put clothes racks too close together so you either knock everything over or can't get through.

2. The fact you can't try on clothes when you have a toddler and a baby in a pram!  What are you meant to do with them?!!  Only found 1 shop so far that has a special change room that allows you to take a pram in with you.

3. People who stop still in the middle of the shopping centre talking in a group and don't allow enough room for people to get around them and ignore the "excuse me".

4. Lack of manners - especially telemarketers that keep on going even when you've said "no thank you I'm not interested" - I've been asked by one if I was stupid because I didn't want what was being offered!

5. The fact that despite us all being on water restrictions, fresh drinking water is being used by the gallons in the construction of roadworks projects and people still insist on 'watering' their concrete.

6. The talk of building nuclear power plants up and down Australia's East coast...ok, so where is all the nuclear waste going to go again?!

Think that's enough for now!

First time around...

Started TF 30/10/2006 - 94.5kg

Finished TF 14/02/2007 - 77kg (17.5kg lost)

Back to finish...

Start 4/12/2007 - 78kg

*No TF over Christmas/NY

7/1/2008 - 76kg lost 2kg (-2kg total)

14/1/2008 - 74.5kg lost 1.5kg (-3.5kg total)

21/1/2008 -

Goal - 60kg

Oooohhh  good thread!!!  I like!

* Beggars telling stupid ubelievable lies to try and wrangle you out of spare change.  You think I'm stupid enough to believe you need this money for your newborn baby?  You're standing out the front of Safeway liquor for goodness sake.

* Religious door-knockers.  If I wan religion I'll go out and find it myself thanks.

* Telemarketers.  Enough said.

* People with four-wheel drives / expensive cars that thing the give way rules don't apply to them.

* My husband's amazing metabolism.  I want hollow legs too!
