As you are aware, GST has been placed on our shakes, increasing the cost and in some cases making the program unaffordable for some participants. We are collating as much information as possible to argue our case to have the GST removed.

Please follow the link below to a form requesting information in regards to your experience on the program. We are especially interested in hearing about any medication reductions as a result of the Tony Ferguson Weightloss Program.

It really makes me mad! Now with the GST on a food/meal replacement it will mean the difference for some people not affording the program or only being able to afford part of the program. To those people I say PLOD ON! Do what you can within what you can afford, even if it is the main meal you replace (thats how I started) you will still lose weight but much slower and you will need to watch your other meals for portion size and what you are eating. Since being on TF I have lost 8kgs (so what you say), well it has reduced my sleep apnea dramatically and my blood pressure is coming down. I've dropped 2 clothing sizes and although I have a long way to go, TF has helped with the way I feel about me also. Boo Hoo to the Govt - as if they need more money anyway. Tell them to go and sell something else for the extra money ...

Lets inspire and support each other ...

Goal to get into double figures!

little johnny is screaming that our country is full of "fat people", they preach 2 fruit 3 veg, that's hard enough with fruit and veg prices the way they are, now they are going to tax a great weight loss program, my sis lost 12 kilos on it already. they subsidise medicines that alot of people don't really need but they wont subsidise weight management programs, somehow i don't think mr howard will make it through another election. if antideppressants can be on pbs so should weightloss aids(that are safe like tf)they are just as necessary if not more so, i feel i wouldn't need my depression meds if i felt better about myself..............

ok these are my weights first up my ultimate goal............

my mini goal..........i'm nearly there!!!!

my new mini goal for my eldest daughters birthday 7th april.........

I'm only a new TF'er, but just wanted to have my say on this thread

I am sure everyone here can relate to the prejudice attitudes toward plus sized persons. If you are sexist, or racist you are frowned upon, but in this crazy mixed up society you'd think the govt wanted to support people trying to be proactive and actually DOING something to help be more healthy, and in the process educating younger generations about how to live a healthy lifestyle.

The GST on the likes of weightloss products is so so wrong. Give us a break!
