I have 3 piercings in each year. Nose stud (Not Ring) When I have my second tummy tuck and they give me a decent looking belly button, I will pierce that too.

My Tony Ferguson butterfly tattoo it's awesome and when I get to 30 kilos lost, I will have the 2 smaller ones around it just like the picture.

I have been a well respected teacher and I remember about 5 years ago I was posted to a new school and placed in Year 1. A Parent went to my principal and said "I do not want my child in that woman's class - the one with the stud in her nose, tattoo and dresses like a surfie!"

My Principal acknowledged her request and I offered to remove the piercing and cover the tattoo if she wished me to do so. Her reply was that as teachers we needed to prepare children for the world and part of this was to dispel certain stereotypes and to also encourage acceptance of all.

Six months later the same Parent returned to the Principal and requested that her child now be transferred to my class as she had seen what a fantastic teacher I was - she was politely refused.

On a lighter note I still remember reading a story to my class and feeling a wet finger on my ankle- " It won't rub off ! my student said.

And another time when a student went home a put a felt pen "stud" on her nose so she could be like me!

I feel much better now

Robot hun, I knew you had to reply to the thread and your tattoo is so pretty. I don't think age has anything to do with doing things we really want for ourselves. You go get those other 2 butterflys and make sure you post a picture.

When I do eventually get my tattoo, I can't wait to see what it would look like at 85yr, cos I know there is a reason I got it and what the meaning behind it would be.

This little piggie went, pee, pee, pee all the way home!!

 WEIGHT LOST FOR 2006 = 17.5kg

I also have a tattoo with all my kids name on, funny thing was though the whole tatt cost me $100.00 bucks but when I went ot get my little boys name put on it last year it was going to cost $100.00 bucks for 3 letters I said sorry but I'm not paying that so there's a Tattooist down Albury/Wodonga way who charged $50.00 still pricey but it's all done now.
