I have been on TF for 2 weeks, 1st weighin lost 2.9kg, second 1kg, and found out by ACCIDENT that I am supposted to be having a extra protem cause of my bmi....

well.... maybe the staff at the centres should understand how hard it is to loose weight and do there jobs properly

upset.... desperate housewife

Well DW, I don't know why you are depressed your weight loss is fantastic, if only I could do what you have done in two weeks.  You have still lost more than me and I've being doing the program since the start of the year.. I to found out about the extra protien...but it didn't hurt me not to have it......so cheer up your've still beigh lossing weight and that is the main thing...

Be happy and don't worry your going great guns......and the staff can only do so much....

Debra,

the reason why I was frustrated.... was because I was told that If I woud have had that extra protein I would of probably lost more wieght. I have a great deal of weight to loose ... so every kilo to me is important. Anyway I am starting fresh this week

and looking forward to a  great week.

Hi DW

Okay I think you are doing fantastic and have some good answers to the BMI questions(I asked about this on Saturday at the Campbelltown meet) I asked directly to Chris Ferguson about it and his response to me was:

He doesnt actually believe in the BMI I explained that I sometimes have trouble eating the 2 protien that Im suppose to be on and he said If I dont want it dont eat it you consume what you need.....alot of the Nutritionist advise and use the BMI and that is why some may advise the extra protien and others may not.

So in all fairness to the staff at TF centres it is an idividual thing I guess...yes you should of been advised but it could also be a personal choice to advise the person commencing the programme especially if they have told the staff member of any trouble they had previous.

I hope that ramble helped you understand..Im confusing myself now,lol

hi and congrats on your great losses i haven't done as well as you but am very proud of myself for what i have lost you are doing fantastic keep up the good work.

My bmi is also greater than 40 and this is what i was told about the extra protein i was told i don't have to have the extra but be carful that i don't starve myself because if i am then my body might start to feed on my muscles instead of my fat.

Hi DW,

I know how you feel when you say "I have a great deal to lose and every kilo is important to me"
I'm sure we all wished there was a pill that could just get rid of all of it overnight. But there isn't so it will never happen.

Think of it as being 1/2 a stone. So you have lost half a dress size, and really you should be proud of yourself as at least you are doing something about it.

And i do know i would be annoyed if i was misinformed, the girls i go and see look like they should be still in school "hahaha"

It took me about 3 days to work out what carbs were... That made me feel like an absolute idiot!

Congradulations on losing that kilo though. Thats one less kilo you have to worry about isn't it really?

Hi,

thanks for all your great advice. Once before I have starved my self and didnt loose weight on another type of diet. So for this week I am going to try the 4 protein, andsee how I go... It will be interesting. I will keep you all posted.
