I must admit that I kinda cheat a little bit when it comes to working out percentages of weightloss.  As you can see from my signature I use a spreadsheet.

Actually I've attached a blank copy of it here if anyone is interested in using it.  It have a tab for kg's lost (that's what you work with), pounds lost (copies everything from kg's lost and converts it automatically to pounds), graphs to see how much weightloss progress to goals and a signature tab (which you can copy and paste to your signature weekly like I do if you wish)

It automatically works out what the percentage of loss for the week from the week prior is and how much your total loss is as well as have a column for you to put comments in (eg my goal of 20-25 loss by cousins wedding).

All you have to do is put in your start date (it automatically will generate the next weighin date 7 days after and onwards) and your start weight.  Each week after that all you need to do is put the weight in the (kgs) column and it will tally everything else for you.  I have put the goals of 5kgs per 4 week period (to me 4 weeks is a month btw not the actual calendar month) but you can change those goals to whatever you want.

Oh I only did it for 12 months worth but it can be shortened or lengthed as far as you want it to.  (My personal one goes for 18 months as i have to lose approximately 60-67 kgs)
