Hi all. just wondering whether anyone uses the shakers u can buy thru TF. I used a shaker (similar to TF) for my baby's milk and found with the air pressure the top would come off leaving milk (literally) all over my face. Does this happen 2 anyone using the shakers? Do they really work? I really think it will help get out the lumps better in the shakes. Any ideas appreciated.

Chell

I use a nifty little hand blender from Big W, similar to a cappacino frother, has 4 blades. I think it only cost about $15, runs on batteries. It mixes the mocha up fine. Comes with it's own mixing jug. It think it is a tiffany brand, I have had it over a year & never a problem.

Hi Chell - I have found a fantastic milkshake maker shaker by Decor. The retail for around $4.50 - $5.00 depending on where you buy it. They come in funky contrasting colours and because they are designed as a "milkshake maker" they make the TF shakes extra frothy. I bought mine at K-mart. However they also sell them in Target and Howards Storage World. I am sure other such variety stores or department stores would also stock them. I have never had it "blow up" in my face - the cap is very tight and doesn't come off even when shaked very vigourisly. Good luck!!

I have the same shaker as Alli that was sent to me through TF. I find it seems to mix the shakes well and you don't have the problem of the lid popping off whilst shaking it.

Dont let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game

I'm only on my 3rd day of the program and didn't bother buying the shaker.

I use this little gadget for whisking up my shakes. I bought it years ago from Go-Lo or similar shop for about $2. It runs on 2 AA batteries and makes the shakes really frothy and creamy!! No problem with the Mocha (had it yesterday) yummmmmmm.
