| Hi Everyone Im sorry my post is late with my weigh in, but I completly forgot all about it. I've just had my knee done and i have been stuck in a wheelchair or on crutches and will be for the next 10 weeks, but I managed to jump on the scales at home this morning after my shower and i still weigh 65kgs yippee... thought I would of put on weight as there is not much I can do in the exercise (or even walking for that matter) department. I will be stuck in a leg brace for the next 10 weeks which goes from my ankle to the top of my thigh unable to weight bare at all, so hopefully i can stay on track, but I must admit frustration is taking a very heavy toll at the moment. Cheers to you all Karen

| Hi Karen, I know about the frustration, I hope the time goes fast for you, just think how much net surfing you can do from a chair! (do they still call it that?). Pat

Thanks Pat and Mally, I also hope that the time goes fast, but my hubby goes back to Brissy next week for work, so undoubtledy the depression part of the whole recovery process will then kick in big time as well. If I am well enough to travel and the specialist gives the OK I may be able to go back with him for a while we shall see, not holding out any hope though. Thanks again and I'll see you on June 1 Karen

| I know the month isn't up BUt I weighed in today and I am 73.4 - down 1kg from last week. The only thing I have done differently is stopped the psyllium husks. I might pay for it later but I was wondering what the carb content in them was doing to my weight. Don't know, we will see what next Thursday holds. Pat

| Hi everyone Over the last 3 weighins I've put on 2.1. Kept up the exercise but have been trying to do maintenance but failing badly. Well I conquered the weight by dieting now the next headspace I need to get into is maintenance (a definate easier said then done) - I just don't feel ready. Will I ever????? So the last few days I've trying to do TF but slipping up badly as well. It's all a little scary at the moment I really thought I had this thing beat but now little doubts are starting to creep in. ms4off

Relax! It takes time to get into the swing, I had an added advantage when I went to Maintenance, I had my bunion removed and a full toe reconstruction requiring my foot to have a metal plate and 4 screws, so I was immobile for 10 weeks, and not all that hungry because of pain....but I did have shake for breaky with fruit in it, Salad sandwich for lunch on soy and linseed bread, no spread...and a TF type tea with little extras like 5 bean mix in my stews, proscuitto wrapped around my little gerello roasts, blue cheese slither on top of my pork steak or eye fillet steak, love olives and sundried tomatoes, fetta and artichoke in a salad once a week also, haven't added back in potatoes, peas, corn etc., yet...we still eat a lot like we did on the TF diet because we both got used to it and it is an easy way of cooking, just don't rush yourself, stick to as close to TF as you like after all it is a healthy diet, I hope you can lose some of that extra creeping weight real soon, try the 1 shake a day it may be of help
