Hi all,

I am soooo disappointed in myself - it ids only my second weel and I did it really easy then but this week WOW I am craving all the food I shouldn't have and I am eating it and more.  You name it - pasta, lollies and chocolate.  I eat it, I feel really bad and then I eat more.  Every day starts really well until after dinner - I sit alone while my husband works shifts and I can't seem to think of anything but what I can eat next.  I don't know what to do my intentions are good and I was really excited to lose 5 kgs in my first week.

Any tips for getting back on track and staying there would be greatly appreciated.  I didn't want to post this but  thought it would be good if I took responsibility for my bad eating

Please help!

I know exactly what you mean! I've been really bad the last couple of weeks, but I've woken up to myself now and am trying to behave. Here's what I've done so far:

* In my loungeroom, I have a size 10 skirt that I used to wear hanging up where I can see it constantly as a reminder of where I want to be.
* I have plenty of diet jelly in the fridge so I can snack out on that when I'm feeling like I need to eat
* I am trying to make sure I do 1/2 an hour of exercise per day, minimum. It can be difficult, but I'm really determined to fit into that skirt!
* Whenever I want to eat, I log onto the forums, instead. Which is why I'm always here! Hehe.

Hopefully, with my new system in place, I won't fall off the wagon as badly as I did this week. Hopefully you can adapt some of this stuff to suit you as well.

Thanks so much for your tips - it is also good to know I am not the only one falling off the wagon.  I like the idea of the size 10 skirt.  I have never been thin so I don't own such a thing, but I think I will invets in a visual reminder.  As for the diet jelly I am going to make some now

Let me know how you go maybe we can help keep each other on the straight and narrow.

Yeh, the stupid thing is I thought I was fat when I could fit into that skirt! HUH! Silly me. This forum is great for support. I'll let you know how I go - I'm on Barb's blitz challenge, but somehow I don't think I'll be losing 6kg in the next two weeks. Hehe.

Hi Carla,

We have a lot in common, we are about the same weight, I have been pretty bad over the past couple weeks and not lost any weight and I have the old clothes I used to wear when I thought I was fat but now I don't think I will ever fit into them.

Of course you will! If I can, you can! We are really similar aren't we? We should become weight-loss buddies. That will motivate us to stay on the straight and narrow.

Jillian,

It sounds like your problem is when hubby is at work. Try some new techniques during that time.

Can I suggest looking at the forums, chewing some gum, letting the dog inside or start learning another language at home?

Once u get urslef out of that routine, u'll be on ur way.

Allison
