| Cross Posted - Supermarket and Ask Staff The Kraft 100% fat free Italian dressing, which we are allowed to have, has now changed. The contents are different....The bottles have changed but they both state on the front 100% fat free italian. So beware.... I think that we are now not allowed to have this? Can you please confirm.... I have also put this on the forum under "supermarket" to show others that the bottles have changed, and so has the Nutrition Info, as well as pics for people to see. (I cant seem to put pics in ask the staff section)

| I have contacted Kraft, and asked why they have tripled the carbs and sugars in the product etc. They advised me they will answer my request via email. When I get the reply, I will put it here. Im bumping this up, as I dont want others to just pick it up off the shelf and buy it thinking its the same as the old one, just a different bottle.

| The Kraft people wrote me a letter after my complaint. This is what they had to say Dear ...... Thank you for contacting us concerning your purchase of our 300ml Free Italian Dressing. At Kraft we take pride in our good reputation and employ very stringent quality control procedures to ensure that our products are of the highest possible standard. Our quality and Marketing Teams have been advised of your comments concerning your purchase and the information that yu have supplied will be used to help us in our programme of continuous product improvement. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback and in accordance with our satisfaction guarantee policy please find enclosed a reimbursement to cover the cost of your purchase. Yours sincerely Kraft Foods Limited They gave me a gift card to use at BigW/Woolworths for $10. I called Kraft after receiving this letter, and asked them why did they change it. They said that it was New and Improved Taste, which is stated on the new bottle. I told them that in future maybe they should also completely change the bottle labels or use different colours to make their consumers more aware of a change. Considering that I picked it up thinking "oh nice new bottle" and thought I was buying the same product.... Also food for thought for them I mentioned that the bar code is exactly the same as the original bottle.... If they change a product shouldnt the bar code be altered as well? They couldnt answer me, and a "Manager" will get back to me... Lol... big companies... Dont you just love them.... Anyway, im just glad that I read the label before I used their new bottle. Maybe we all should start re reading our lables even on familar products incase the contents have changed!

Kraft did the same thing about 6-7 years ago with their sliced cheese. There was no mention of new recipe on the packet. By looking at it, it just looked like re-vamped packaging. But on closer inspection of the nutritional panel, it was higher in points (was doing WW then). You have to be careful!!!
