howdy, 15+ year smoker here.. ( sorry ex smoker) i have been without a cigarette for 6 days now and i have to say i have never felt better.

i have tried everything in the past but couldnt stick to it. started champax nearly 3 weeks ago and its been a god sent.

i cant recommend it highly enough. since my "D" day i have not looked for a cigarette. havent needed to substitute it with anything either.

it has also made me more determine with my weight loss. if i can give up the smokes i can surely shed the pounds. we have taken a life changing approach, healthy lifestyle for all the family

its great.

if you are serious about quitting i really couldnt recommend Champax highly enough.

good luck to you all !!

hey guys I havent read all the posts but I have read a few, just thought from my own experience I think champix is awesome. Its a prescription drug that you can get from your doctor, the course lasts about 3 months and if your like me and suffer from horrendous side effects when you try and give up I would definately reccommend it. Absolutely amazing, no kidding

I have to agree, i've just started the Campix after my sister and her partner have given up with it.

I say if they can do it than so can I,

Also started TF a week later, people telling me I'm crazy but I figure that if I keep smoking i'll never give it up, and if i try to quit without a weightloss plan i'll just keep outting on those kg.

Nice to see i'm not the only 'crazy' person out there

Hi all,

I have been a smoker on and off for 10 years. It has gotten to the stage where I desperately want to give up and am trying to go cold turkey again. I have seen too many of my family members sick with cancer and I am too young (well I consider 27 too young ) to stuff up my health any further.
I have read a lot about this Champix drug and am off to the dr to have a chat about it but I would prefer to try to do it solo. It has gotten to the stage where I am fed up with being a smoker and want to do anything I can to stop.

I dont think doing something about your weight or replacing the smoking with a healthy habit is crazy, in fact it would probably be beneficial. I intend on going back to the gym next week if I'm not still sick (cold )

Anyway good luck to everyone who is giving up/given up, it is a damn hard thing to do but well worth it! I worked out that I spend $100 a fortnight on cigarettes!! What a waste! To me, that is a lot of money and I dont intend to waste it on that anymore.

K xx

Hi Ladies,

If you like meditation you should try hypnosis, I downloaded a quit smoking cd from audible.com and quit the very first time I used it and that was six months ago.

If it doesnt work you must keep listening every night until it does.

Hey good luck with it.
