huh? Watermelon isn't allowed? Isn't that one of the best slimming fruits as it's mainly water?

Though Watermelon has a fair bit of water in it, it is also fiberous and quite sweet and has a HUGE  G.I. level of 72!!!!  Your blood sugar levels will rise a fair bit eating it.

hope this helps

Unfortunately Honey Dew, Rock Melon and Watermelon have been listed in the “foods to avoid” category due to their high GI (Glycemic Index) rating of 60+, Watermelon being the highest with a GI rating of 72!

Thanks everyone. That's so strange as most of the "slimming" juices at juice bars and boost, etc have watermelon in them. I guess it's because it doesn't keep you full for long... will have to find a different combo hehe

Thanks for the list Mally, didn't realise this was here. Very comprehensive, how could anyone say they'd be bored with all that to choose from?

Just a question, the list has baby corn 1/4 cup and further down baby corn not allowed. Was this meant to be normal corn not allowed?

I think that's right Lilac.  I read somewhere else that baby corn is allowed, even on Atkins Baby Corn is allowed so must be much lower in carbs/sugars etc.

That watermelon thing has always eluded me, but I do here it's hugely high in sugars *sigh* - lucky we have strawberries!!!
