Thought some of you clever people on maintenance might be able to help out with a couple of questions. Its very hard for me to call the 1800 number during the day as I dont really have the opportunity at work to discuss anything private.

Im trying hard to get the hang of the maintenance plan but seem still to be losing weight, so should I just add something extra until I stay the same weight Eg Have an extra piece of bread or a slice of cheese.

Also when calculating the serves do you know if a yoghurt or cheese (for example) counts both as protein and dairy/calcium. Eg If i'm going to have Low fat ricotta instead of meat for a protein serve of an evening do I also have to add it to the dairy/calcium serve as by dinner time Ive usually already had my dairy serve.

Hi there,

I would post this in the ask the staff section. It does take a while to get the mix right and I think only the staff can do that. I am sure they will want to have a look at what you are eating. You can always do it by email from the home page of the TF site.

I lost weight and so did Mal when we first started maintenance.

Also the TF Call Centre is open

Mon- Fri from 6am - 7pm

Saturday 9am - 4pm and

Sunday 10am - 4pm

With Patko here, just pop this into the Ask TF Section and I'm sure they will be able to help you with your queries, we did the diet a long time ago and our Maintenance sheets are quite different to the new ones, we both also lost weight once on Maintenance, myself another 5 kilos...and yes it does take time to figure it all out....good luck, the staff here are great and very helpful
