Ald is the most amazing place to shop... here are a few facts

MOST of the items there are brand name... the baby food is made at heinz, the nappies are made at huggies ( if you read the labels they tell you and yess alot of the frozen stuff is ingams and otherbrand names... and i think it is 90% of the groceries are made in OZ....I have washing bskets in my boot and I feed my WHOLE family of 5 for $110 or less a week. The only things I dont buy there is shampoo and canditioner, dishwashing liquid and rubbish bags. For the few things I go tothe other places for I always feel like Im being ripped off.....

now as to food.... strawberries are on special atm and i am buying a HEAP... and going to freeze them to throw in my shakes and jelly for treats.... dont forget to use your freezers....

oh.. and hare is my fav receipe atm..

1 tin of crushed tomatoes, 1/2 a capsicum, 1/2 a onoin, a large handful of chinese lettuce, 1/2 a  zuccini, and whatever else I can fond plus 1 peice of frozen fish from aldi's and boil for about 25 mins.... YUMMMMMMMMY FISH SOUP

I will NEVER be called "that fat chick" again.

If anyone wants to chat, my msn is kayemily@hotmail.com

Aldi's is the best shopping around, it's cheaper than colse or wollys. So what about the bags, it's best for inviroment. IT's NEVER out of date and not for bulk buying as someone mentioned. Its regular shopping without all the confusing choices. It's simple and each store is set out the same.

Some people like Aldi's other LOVE it - like me. The NAPPIES ARE THE BEST PRICE. (and i've tried them ALL)

Off the subject, the balsamic vinegar dressing is OK for TF.
The mixed frozen veges of course and the frozen fish (not crumb) is ok too.
