| Hi everyone, Any ideas on what I can have as a take away for tea, I broke my little toe this morning and I could not stand for that long and cook something, hubbys woking a little bit late and said he would pick something up on the way home, what can I have, we have everything around here, so there is not a limited choice, but because Im restricted to one spot Im cold and feel like something hot and nice (If you know what I mean) Any suggestions would be great Thanks in advance

| HI I know this is not takeaway but i found the other day if you cook steam fresh veggies and a birds eye atlantic salmon ( or similar) takes 10 mins in microwave, and your done, I found it handy to have these on hand in case something popped up and I didnt want to cook and would usually grab takeaway!.

| I usually go for steamed veiges and a seafood dish from the local thai takeaway but if you dont like seafood just go for any portein like chicken in garlic sauce and just be sure not to go over your daily protein serve. Michelle

Thanks everyone for your replys, in the end I had boiled vegies and I scrambled an egg and some bacon and poured that over the top, not the best choice but it was nice saved money buying takeaway, but then I went and blew it tonight and had two pieces of toast and vegemite, my foot was killing me and I wanted some comfort food so I had the toast (It was a low gi bread) anyway I will get back on track tomorrow today was just too stressful (first time I have ever broken a bone in 35 years hehe)

when im despirate for take away i generally go to chicken treat and buy coleslaw and a quarter of a chicken. though i no they both arent the best of foods. i figure its the best choice when im out *no subway available*. the area i like in have pizza chicken treat, kebabs or fich n chips. huge choice of take away
