i wont to be free (3/03/2008)
ok i have never done a challenge but i will give it a go. so where do i put down my steps for the day.

Hi, You can either make up a little spreadsheet like I have and add it to your signature, or I thought if everyone just comes in and edits their original post that they put in this topic to say they were taking part.
I found I couldn't line up the details properly without the table.
Good Luck!

Hi, Well sometimes it can be, but it usually involves about an hour plus walk for me to get it up there.  But also I build it up by doing the housework etc.  Some days I need to top it up, so have a game of soccer with my daughter in the yard or something.
It is so worth it but, I feel great for doing it!

Hi Clairabella, I sometimes put it in my pocket, I have had the same problem, it falls off (once into the toilet!) or I lean on it and it resets!  You just have to be careful I guess.  Some pedometers need to be pressed for about 3 seconds to be reset.  (my new one does).  I have also found, sometimes if I wear it on pants that have a tighter waist it doesn't move as much when stepping, so walked 4km and it said I had done 90 steps lol!

Perywinkle, I will get off my b.... as you call it and join up with the challenge starting today, however I have probably already done 1000 steps so far.
Looking forward to doing more and more steps every day.  Found my pedometer in the bottom of my bag where it was thrown after falling off.  Maybe there is less fat around the waist now to stop knocking it.

Not doing too good at the moment.

Ok, I've borrowed a friends pedometer since I couldn't find my last one and am signing up. Today I got through 14543 steps - no wonder I'm shattered! Thank you for starting this challenge

Well done everyone!

I keep forgetting to wear mine!  The last time I did, after doing my 5km walk, I got home and my pedometer said I had done 952 steps

I have been walking everyday, so hopefully weigh in wednesday will prove that loL!
