Hi All,

Well it's my first time on the forum & as a TF virgin- i've just started the program this week.

Just a brief email to let you all know I'm setting my sights on 5kgs per month and will be logging in soon with my weekly updates.

Hope everyone is going well, enjoying the program and are also enjoying the journey to success.

Best wishes

Nes

Hi Ness,

welcome This is my fourth week and I've lost 5 kilo (not officially weighing til Monday), so it is possible. Just a matter of deciding to stick with it and doing it. The forum is a friendly bunch, feel welcome to post wherever and to ask any questions.

Hello everyone!

I would love to join this challenge. It's great that you are all doing it together and losing 5 kgs at a time- its a great way to do it....

I will be starting Monday 13th July (as it is my birthday this weekend, so i can just imagine all the treats i will be getting into me that i shouldnt be.... ! )

I will enter my starting weight then.

By the way, does anyone have any tips about the eating plans? things to eat that are allowed on the program to make you feel fuller so you don't feel hungry?

Thanks a ton!

Kirsten

Hi Kirsten,

welcome

One of my fave dishes is steamed veggies. You can eat a bucket load of them all day if you like, just make sure they come from the free list. The first few days is a bit of a detox, so don't be surprised if you do feel hungry. The hunger dies down after all the carbs stored in your system have been used up and the body goes into ketosis. You can have unlimited amounts of the allowed jelly and if you check the recipe section, they have recipes on making lolly snakes from the jellies. Don't forget your water, cause that really does help to take the edge off.

Another question- How much extra exercise on top of normal daily life should I be doing?
Thanks :-)

It depends. The idea of this diet is you don't have to take up exercise in order to lose. Just doing what you normally do will be enough. If you do want to exercise though, I suggest waiting a couple of weeks to let your body get used to the new diet and caloric intake, then add exercise to the mix. I only started exercising in week 4, and it was a simple 30 minute stepping on and off the wii fit.

Have completed my first month on Tony Ferguson and I've lost a total of 7.1 kilos so very happy with that.
