| Has anyone made the apple cinnamon slice? I went camping last weekend, and wasn't too sure how I would cope as I have only just started (again). Lucky for me, I found this recipe and it was a lifesaver! So easy to carry in the esky, and eat while out and about This is one recipe I'm printing out and making again! http://www.tonyferguson.com/Apple_Cinnamon_Slice.aspx

| Holy cow. This slice is absolutely delicious. Just had 3 pieces (1/4 of slice) for lunch. It was really moist, delicious and filling. Have put the rest in a container for another day. SHould I store in the cupboard or the fridge though? want it to stay fudgey (if that's even a word?). I recommend this recipe. it's so yum and feels like a treat.

| I'm confused... It say's to use 4 shakes. And there's 4 serves. So, what you'd have 1 serve in replacement of a shake? ie: 1 piece = morning shake, 1 piece = afternoon shake?

| That's right. 4 shakes and 4 apples in it which means there are 4 serves in the slice. I cut it into 12 pieces. So 3 pieces is one serve of shake and one serve of fruit. Please tell me that makes sense? I don't want to have overeaten. 1/4 of slice is one shake and one fruit..... just thinking out aloud. Yes, I'm sure of that. Cheers, Kim.

Yep sounds good, when cut into 3cm's squared you would 3 squares and that would equal one shake and one serve of fruit. I have it in the oven as we speak and can't wait to bit into it!!! Will let you know how I go

| Hey all, I am eating my first serving of this right now. It's great, but one tip: not too much olive oil, it gives it a weird olivey taste, especially if you're using a heavily flavoured extra virgin. I think I will have to get a less flavoursome one... Otherwise, awesome idea.
