Lexy - there is nothing wrong with a good toast dinner occasionally unless you are on tf, of course. Sounds like it is time for you to stop cooking for a while and eat some of your freezer food. I could take my own advice because there is still eggplant lasagne and some other unrecognisable stuff in there.

Oh crap - I've forgotten to put the lamb roast on in all my excitement at doing the vacuuming!!! My floor is deliriously clean now and has those gorgeous just vacuumed marks on them.... until Krash crashes the scene and all my good work will be undone. Son2 is outside scooping up leaves for me as we speak. Need to leave to collect son1 from shift 1 at work in 20 mins. Am still unwashed today but in no hurry as I am getting things done. Son2 'vacuumed' upstairs for me the other day so I am going to go do it properly now. Vacuuming does mean getting all the dirt and crap off the floor, doesn't it? I should have explained that better to him.

Lamb to go on NOW. Drink some water while I am there. Just had a delicious decaf that warmed my belly. Thinking of having a shake and banana pudding for lunch.

Thanks Lexy. Checked out that site. WIll compare prices to fitness warehouse place next to mr kim's gym. He will pop in there this afternoon for me.

Son1 home from first work and my car smells of McD fries as he brought supplies home for him to eat. I am hungry now!!! Stupid boy.

Off to vac upstairs. Took the vac up there earlier but got into the shower instead of using it. Oh well.

morning all, i am knackered and its only 11 am. had a good night with the family last night and have tons of food left, the vegan proof lasagna was a hit, and i like it better than a normal lasagna so that will be what i make from now on, much healthier too i ate too much, but hadnt eaten hardly anything all day, today will be a slack day food wise too, but will be back on again tomorrow, you know me, go well for a few days then ruin it and start again, have no strenght or commitment do I.

Any hoe at midnight Miss 11 calls out "i feel sick" so get up to her, she was freezing her teeth were rattling, made her warm, went back to bed, 3 am "mum i am still sick" so i shouted out some instructions, 5 am she was in tears had bad tummy pains, etc etc, gave her some pamol, and a drink of water and a bucket, 7am still crying and maoning, so i got up and went and sat with her in her room, finally she was sick in the bucket, i told her to go to sleep and i cleaned up, she is fine now but i told her to stay in bed, so she is reading, i feel exhausted.

so may go for a nanna nap later. although i need to go to hospital to visit my friend and take her some supplies she asked for.

oh this morning we buried "goggles" the kids black goggle eyed fish who i have been trying to keep alive for them for days now, last night he gave up the fight so miss8 and mr 6 and i chose a spot and buried him and they ran off to play, so much for sadness.

So i am now rambling, sorry.

Yay for Krash sleeping thru

Steph forgot to congratulate you on an awesome loss

Nikki hope your day with your slap goes well

Lexy wish i had a full freezer with tf friendly food in it

Trace not long now till Nik is home, just keep busy

Mrs M hope you find a nice place big enought and at a reasonable enuff price to stay

Ambzy how are you today?

Rose what are you up to today??

Hello to every one sle, hope you all have a great day

BBL

Good bye, Goggles! Rest in peace.... unless the dog digs you up. Is that possible, Cherry?

Krash and Wilma (tkntp) just made acquaintances. Kitten ran and is hiding behind the couch. It wasn't a scary moment just a big dopey puppy excitedly jumping towards her. There were no blows exchanged.

SOn1 back at work now. Mr kim and son2 at the gym. So just 2 dogs, 2 cats (hiding) and me for a while. yippee.

Why is Krash barking happily? Must find out.

Home after a busy day.  We went to meet the baby first - she is just gorgeous and so teeny tiny, then we took Geogie for a walk along the Cornelian Bay track, then we went to Bunnings and found out they didn't sell the timber that we need, then we took Geogie into The Dogs Breakfast shop - she loved that and met another dog, then we went to see Miss M#2 and fiance and they were out, then we went to the stupidmarket - Coles - which really is a stupidmarket - I usually go to Wollies, then we took Georgie for a wander around Salamanca, then we put Geogie back in Jeep and Mr M had a pint of Guiness in Knoppies and I had a bowl of potato and leek soup (which means today is about 85% tf friendly).  Now shopping is put away and we're worn out

Kim your ramblings were funny and you reminded me that we still haven't got a doorbell fixed and sometimes the Jack Russell bell doesn't work as we ignore it

Nikki enjoy your quiet night in with no in-laws!  I'm really looking forward to seeing your new website

Lexy I'll check that out again - it is one of the places that I was checking out last night.  This is the one I'd like to pull off and it has it's own little restaurant and the good is superb http://www.molecreekgh.com.au/facilities.html.  We have stayed in the bridal suite twice and it is the most gorgeous place to stay.  Will have to see if I can negotiate a deal for us all to stay there.  I think you need to find a new hobby apart from cooking so you can empty your freezer   The story about the little boy is very sad and what a freak accident.

Kim I cook my roasts in roast bags so never need to add oil.  I haven't done one in the slow cooker yet - do you put it in dry or add an liquid??????

Good to see you have your house in order - I too love those vaccum marks on the carpet - Mr M put them in our carpet this morning

Cherry your friend has been in hospital for quite a long time now - I bet she looks forward to your visits.  Hope Miss 11 is fine now and you have managed a nana nap.  Poor Goggles - I hope he fertilises the garden nicely

Happy cooking Trace and nothing wrong with a sooky   I think that Kim should do a Race Trace ticker too so we can all watch the race (*whispers behind hand*  Kim thinks she is going to win, but you can claim that charm)

Mr M asleep on sofa under the guise of listening to the football, Georgie asleep in her basket and time for me to put the lamb in the oven - is a tiny 2 person piece.  Think I might try and finish my book

Thanks for the blinkie Mally

Evening all!!

Had a great but very tiring day with Carys for her birthday!

Will catch up on all your posts later on - bit stressed now. Got the email for the bank to increase our home loan to settle on our land this week. Stupid mobile lender man has been stuffing us around - he missed an email from bank head office with a monthly repayment query and everything stopped. Now the bank offer is in and the figure we have been offered is not what we asked for - not enough to settle on the land. We qualify to borrow way more than they have offered and didn't even want the whole amount we could actually borrow. Getting very peeved with their lack of service and worrying that we will default on settlement if it cannot be sorted out in 4 short days!! If they fix it in time we will definitely be refinancing everything with another bank and telling them to get stuffed.

Sorry to whinge - just annoyed and frustrated that I can't do anything until tomorrow.

Hope you've all had fab weekends!

Back later.

Steph x

Go Team

Good to see that Carys had a great day - I hope she is snuggled up in bed by now

Mrs M - why on earth would you be barracking for Trace to win our race?? What's that all about? Your day sounds busy and relaxing at the same time.

Steph - glad Carys had a good day. Hope she is well and truly asleep now. Also hope that the bank gets itself sorted out and you get your money sorted.

I'm here to report my day's food - Shake, cauli leek soup, shake pudding with banana, roast lamb, steam fresh veges and greens gravy, 2 sf lollies, 1 decaf, 1 ballerina tea, 2.7l water. Another great day for me. I will weigh in the morning and see how I am going. I may report my weight or may keep it to myself... we'll see.

Mr kim claims that the roast lamb, roast potatoes, carrots and peas dinner was the best dinner he's ever eaten in his life!!! That made me happy to hear. I must admit the lamb was cooked beautifully in the slow cooker, the potatoes were almost perfect and the gravy was a great consistency. It all worked well for once. Son2 only ate his potatoes and veges, left the meat. Son1 ate a big mac meal before his 2nd shift and wasn't hungry!!!! Oh well, leaves a spare plate of roast for mr kim's dinner tomorrow night. That's easy.

I've just sent mr kim to bed to read and out of my hair. I'm about to fold the last of the day's washing. I have clean sheets, clean towels, cleanly vacuumed floors, a clean kitchen (except for one roasting dish) and all is well in the world. We are hoping for another restful night tonight with Krash staying quiet.

I've had a terrific weekend doing not much but getting plenty done... if that makes sense. Cheers for a great week coming up, ladies and some awesome losses recorded. Good luck and good choices to all of us.
