Morning all!

Despite having a stressful day yesterday I was 100% on track with the program - although I did have non-TF approved gravy on my roast because my local was out of Greens. I checked it and the carbs looked ok, so I should be fine

But boy now do I know why web designers charge through the nose for their work - it's really fiddly! On the bright side, my website is nearly finished and I will be able to update it and change it myself whenever I want

Cherry, I read on Facebook that one of your kids weren't feeling well - hope she's improved by this morning LOL at least the youngers ones dealth with their grief well

Trace and Kim - I LOVE "Race Trace" such a great idea for you both Excellent name too.

Trace completely understand you feeling a bit emotional with Nik away - I'd be a misery guts if Mr Maloo had to go off for that long

Kim, I've never tried a roast in my slow cooker, I think I just may - sounds fantastic.

Mrs M, I did indeed enjoy my quiet night with no inlaws, cooked myself a 120 gram portion of chicken breast in the oven with roast TF friendly veges and then chilled out in front of the tv (Biggest Loser US) with a cup of herbal tea

Steph, what a pain in the bottom - I hope your lender can sort this out!

Lexy good luck for the interview today - you will do great

Susan is off and doing great with her team, Gaij is flying to Australia, hello to Ambzy, Sim, Chicky and Veron where ever they may be...

As for me, today I am doing a serious back to basics Monday - shakes, no dressings on my salad, dinner is going to be grilled fish and steamed veges - I want to get the best result possible tomorrow for my weigh in - am hoping to be about 77kg on the TF scales... I am 76.9 on my own in the morning with no clothes on, but by the time I get to TF tomorrow I'll have a few layers on (and shoes) and will have had my morning shake, so I'm hoping for somewhere around 77.6 which would give me a kilo loss for the week.

Nikki for something different with your steamed veggies I tried a new recipe from TF cookbook I last week - I steamed snow peas and green beans the tossed them in a metal bowl with 1 tsp white rice vinegar and 2 tsp of seeded mustard. It was really good!

Good morning!!

Way to go Kim and Trace and Cherry!! You will get to your goal in no time at all!!! Focus focus focus!!!!!

Nikki - I'm glad its you not me doing the web design - that stuff goes completely above my head LOL!!! At least you have saved yourself some money and will have control of the site.

Mrs M - hope the next few days are not too busy and stressful. Hope your bosses Dad will be ok.

Lexy - did you freeze on your walk this morning?? Good luck at the TF interview - I'm sure you'll say all the right things.

Well I thought I'd sneak on the scales this morning for a peek and was not happy. Weight was up a little from Friday's weigh in. Not enough water over the weekend and too much eating out is to blame I think. Over salted food on Saturday night and then some Chinese last night (no rice!!) is probably making me hold fluid. Was too cranky about the bank stuff last night to cook so Paul raced out and got his old faithful takeaway dinner.

Carys had the best day yesterday. We met friends at Robina Town Centre and had breakfast (poached egg, bacon and mushrooms for me - no toast!!). The kids then played on the playground there with the Dads supervising and while my friend and I escaped with 'something important to do' - code for wandering the shops for a little while. In DJ's I found possible flowergirl dresses for my girls for sisters wedding at a good price. The bodice is a little whiter than we had hoped for - but I bought them anyway and will at least have some dresses if other options aren't successful.

Came back from our time out and took the kids to Max Brenner's for birthday fondue - I couldn't talk them out of it. The place was packed - the line for the counter was constantly out the door. Shows how many people are diet conscious!! Happy to say while the kids had fondue and the Dad's shared some strawberries with melted choc dip I had a bottle of water and a coffee and one plain strawberry!! Then we left and went to look through friends new house - all their curtains and carpets are in and look fantastic - giving me some great ideas!! Then out to my parents so the birthday girl could get more presents! Told her she didn't need cake as the fondue was better.

Then home to the bank email debacle. Still stuffing around with that this morning - hopefully will get a good result soon. The lending manager is obviously either too busy or doesn't have enough brains to process the information we have given him countless times. We asked for this cashback increase SIX weeks ago. In the past that has taken a mere 48 hours to process and approve!! GGGGRRRRRRRR!!! Frustrating!!

Anyway, better get moving. Blake stayed at my parents last night and my sis-in-law is picking Edie up soon so I can take Carys to the doc appt on my own. Not looking forward to taking her for blood tests - may have to call Paul in as reinforcements to hold her down. Having trouble getting her to take the mild laxative or drink pear juice as the doctor suggested on Friday. Hopefully I can get some other suggestions today.

Back later - have a fantastic day girls!!

Steph x

Lexy - thanks for the tip! I have both of those ingredients so I will give it a go. Mr Maloo will be chuffed to have something like that too, he loves seeded mustard

Steph, I saved myself about $2000 by doing my own website! Does that mean I can go on a $2000 shopping spree? Nevermind the scales - you know it's fluid and fluid isn't fat so it will be gone in a day or two Sorry to hear about the lending manager - it amazes me how some people keep their jobs sometimes!

Anyway back to it for me I've got a list of things I want to get done this morning before work and I'm powering through it - and now I've realised I should have put 'drink shake' on the list because it's almost 11am and I haven't had one yet!

Been to the docs with Carys. He's sending her to Brisbane Childrens Hospital to the Paedatric Gastroenterology team. She'll have a colonoscopy and any other investigation they think necessary. Had to take her for blood tests straight after the appt which was horrendous - took 4 of us to hold her down!! Have to drop in a couple of 'wilma' samples when I can - one frozen (?????) and one room temperature. The appt in Brisbane will probably take about 3 months to get as there is a long wait list, its in the public system and they are the only paeds gastro people that service Queensland. The doc today said it all points to ulcerative colitis - but he hopes for her sake it isn't as it is not curable - only treatable and she will live with it the rest of her life.

With all of that today I have just realised I have only had a brekkie shake and 1L of water all day. Better fix that now.

Back later.

Yay Trace, way to go, once you get through today you'll be able to power along like you usually do

Steph - poor Carys! What a day.

As for me, I'm at work... I should be working, but you know Have had a shake for breakfast, 2 teeny baby mandarines, a small salad with no dressing and shake for lunch.  Dinner will be steak and veges.  No sauces, no dressings, serious B2B today ladies!! I want the best result possible for my weigh in.  Friggin' wilma better visit some time between now and tomorrow too, or she'll be in my bad books.

Kim…good luck in the race Trace! I know you will do well with your determination!

Mrs M…your day yesterday sounded lovely! Hope you manage to keep calm this week! No point stressing…it only invites grey hairs!

Steph…fingers crossed for Carys that her doctor isn’t right. Hope the 3 months flies by and you can get some definitive answers. Well done on being strong yesterday…you’ll be looking gorgeous in that dress hun!!

Trace…sook away girlfriend!! Good luck with Race Kim too! I know you can do it because you live near Kim and she will hunt you down of you don’t…ahhh the safety of living in another state!!

Nikki…great news about the website! Looking forward to seeing it soon and well done on staying focussing on good eating!

Lexy…where did you walk today? It was bloody cold today! Can’t wait for the warmer weather!

Cherry…RIP Goggles the goldfish. Great to see your kids move through the grieving process so quickly!! Hope your daughter feels better after some rest.

Another feral Sunday for moi! We went to Maroubra beach for brunch with friends and took the kids to a park. Josh decided to do an impersonation of Spiderman and climb some ladder to a platform and when he was coming down he lost his footing and fell over a metre to the ground where he landed flat. I remained calm (not) and even though trained in first aide, had NFI what I was doing. Someone else came and checked him and we realised he had only winded himself. Not fun to see a crumpled child but 20 mins of hugs from everyone and he was off again! Bloody boys!

We went to Spotlight and I got some wool to start to learn to knit which I started last night. I totally suck at it…started with 40 stitches and now have over 50!! But am enjoying it.

Today I had another Tupperware party and then Lily and I did some shopping and she came home for a nap and I went to be a class helper in Josh’s class while Gaz watched Lil. Home now and too cold to go for a run so will do my EA Sports on the Wii later tonight.

Well that’s me up to date! Off to knit now!!

Oh forgot to say I weighed in this morning and the scales cried. I have eaten well but last night had steamboat so I carry fluid from that. Will clear it out and weigh in again later in the week. Damn that fluid. Grrrrrrrrr.

Ooh horrible day for Carys. Poor little one. I hope it all turns out to be not so bad. Fingers crossed. Lots of water will fix that bloat and fluid.

Ooh Poor Josh too. That winded feeling is awful. Good that he recovered so quickly. Poo about your scales this morning.

Nikki - yes, go on a $2000 shopping spree. You must!!! Good luck for a kilo loss this week. You certainly deserve it.

Lexy - I like the sound of that vege dish.... love mustard of any description except that garbage that is like yellow tomato sauce and comes in a squeeze container.

Monday down at work. I am so tempted to kill the boss though. He is really pushing my buttons. Tomorrow off!! Yay again.

Off to do dinners now. BBL.

Well hello ladies - I'm buggered   Left work at 4.45 with work still to be done for tomorrow - will have to go in there firing on 5 cylinders tomorrow

Will quickly say - stress causes grey hairs Rose - well no wonder I fork out dollars every 5 weeks to hide the little critters

Lexy these are the two websites I have

http://robosquad.ning.com/ and http://www.robocup2009.org/107-0-news.html

Steph I hope the doctor is wrong about Carys and if not I hope there is a relatively simple way for her to live in comfort

Kim and Trace I don't feel quite so bad about my ticker now........

Nikki will done on being so stong and well behaved

I hope I have about covered all I needed to.  Have a cracking headache - putting it down to detox and will remind myself about the headache next time I think about being norty

Colly bolly for dinner and I think the bolognase is ready so time to eat!  Mr M swimming tonight there is no way no how am I going in the pool on such a cold night - I will take my book and keep an eye on him while staying wrapped up in warm stuff
