Why can't mr m go to the pool by himself? Do you really need to go out into the cold tonight?

He still isn't confident enough to be there by himself and I'm not either - I'd hate him to get into trouble and drown when I wasn't there.  He has had a few times when I have had to rush over and shove him to the side

Mr M isn't swimming either - it is 3 degrees outside and we are not leaving the fire

Kim...no killing of the boss is allowed, however thinking about it is more than acceptable!! When you do your lamb in the slow cooker, where does the liquid come from . Was telling Gaz and he is unsure how to cook it as he usually does casserole. Any advice would be great luvey!

Mrs M...you would be crazy to swim tonight! Stay very close to the fire my dear!

Dinner down...roast chicken and ratatoille (sp) very nice! Watching Masterchef now and about to put the cherubs to bed.

Rose - I'm not sure what liquid you are talking about... lamb, onion flakes, splash of olive oil and soy over the top. That's it. Put the lid on and come back 7 hours later to find a gorgeous lamb roast leg. Divine.

Trace - well done today. Sounds like you were doing great until lunch time there. What did the rest of your food look like for the day?

Mine - shake, cauli leek soup, ham omelette, shake pudding with banana. 1 decaf, 5 sf lollies, about to have ballerina tea. Yay for me.... bit hungry though as mr kim has just eaten 4 pieces of vegemite toast. That smells so yummy. I have an apple sitting in front of me and will eat it as a last resort. Much prefer exercise days as a big chunk of evening is taken up with sweating. I did take the dogs for a 20 min walk this afternoon. Krash isn't allowed to go for too long just yet. Walked to the mail box and back.

Off to watch desperate housewives. BBL.

That's an early night, Mrs M. You must have been exhausted. I will gladly give you the crown tomorrow as I am seriously hoping for a bit of a sleep in on my day off....please, Krash!

Well done, Trace!!! Great rest of the day for you. Good on you for having dinner prepared for tonight. I guess it is happy eofys time for you. Yay for 2 more sleeps. The time will fly past and Nik will be home before you know it. Congratulations on a successful first day for both of us. 58kg here we come.

I ate the apple and it was rather gross but now the tummy is happily comfortable. I can feel abs starting to form... not because of a couple of good days (although they don't hurt) but because of all the medicine balls sit ups starting to work their wonders. There is still a layer of ummm padding over the abs. I wonder if that will ever go.... stupid stomachs!!!

Mr kim has come around to the idea of the Trace v Kim competition and was asking about the time frame. I told him we hadn't made an end date, just 1st to 58kg wins. He asked what we win and rolled his eyes at the pandora incentive.

I spoke to my sister last night who is really struggling now on the program. She said she hates it and is hungry all the time. She was going to make jelly snakes for some sweet food. I hope that helped. She is feeling so much expectation and pressure on her because mum and I have been (still are) on the program. I really hope that feeling passes for her and she can refocus and do well with it. Nothing I can do but support her now. We all know only WE can make the decision for ourselves to get the weight off.

Hey Steph - how has your day been? Being a good tfer? What are the symptoms etc of Carys' problem? Is it serious or something she just has to learn to live with? Hope it's something that passes quickly.

I can't wait to get stuck into my kb class tomorrow night and burn some calories and work on those emerging ab muscles.

Funny - a girl at work was talking about needing to lose weight today and how she had bought a new dress that is a little small on her that she needs to wear to an upcoming wedding. Not 3 minutes later, I saw her eating lollies!!! She also told me that she loves having a bigger butt and boobs and wants to retain shape. Man, I'd give anything for one of those straight up and down bodies with no bumps and gladly get rid of my extra curves. Different strokes.

Cherry - how was your day? No post from you yet? Hope you've been a good girl. Are you going to join Trace and I on our race to 58kg or what?

Here's a toilet story for you to warm your heart... I went to the toilet before (not wilma), stood up to flush the toilet, turned around to find Krash with his front paws on the seat and his bone in the bowl on top of the toilet paper that was rapidly sinking. Knew I couldn't flush the bone so had to dip my hand into the warm wee water and retrieve the bone. Threw it into the sink whilst gagging, washed my hands, the bone and threw it in the bin. That was a beautiful moment in my life!!                            You're welcome.
