A definite big good luck from me today, Nikki. Fingers crossed for a kg for you or at least to get to the number you want. You will do it having been such a positive role model for us for the past few weeks. Can't wait to hear your score when you return. Don't talk yourself out of it!! You deserve to see a lesser number on the scales.... just enjoy the process and the rewards will come.

Thanks, Steph. I am feeling rather positive today. I've been thinking about my boss and what a negative effect he has on people around him and certainly don't want to fall into the trap of being that kind of person. Our mindset is purely our decision. We can let things around us effect how we feel or we can choose to feel good. Feeling good and happy is much better for us so I choose that one!! Plus, I am pleased with myself just now for getting my weight back under control. No better feeling than that!!

Good Morning Girls

Apologies for not getting back on here last night, the home PC is not working so Jake highjacked my laptop!!  Yep just one more sleep until Nik gets home, 10 sleeps is way to long...will have to put my foot down I think !!

My scales were 700grams lighter this morning, so I am pleased about that.  It was a nice feeling ending the day not feeling full and bloated with my usual pregnant looking tummy (ask Kim, she will tell you how bloated my tummy gets after eating the wrong food)

Kim, you are on the right track with not letting your boss change your moods.  People like that just bring others down and then the whole mood of the office becomes Wilma.  Have a happy day at home   Jake wanted me to have a sicky and stay home with him but I just couldnt do it as we are to busy here.

Nikki, I'll wish you good luck today but I know you wont need it, you have been so good.

Mrs M, have a happy day at work   Glad our tickers made you feel not so bad about yours   We aim to please !!

Steph, aww you are nice taking coffee to the poor mum having 6 boys to play, glad its her and not me.  Hope Carys is feeling better after yesterdays trauma

Cherry, come on, join us!!  Its a great motivator and yes your holiday to NZ is all the motivation you need.  Anyway entirely up to you, we are always her to support you no matter what but you already knew that !!

Julie, hope everything is going well for you and bubs

Rose, are you on holidays yet? Whats happening down your way?  Oh did your sister sell her house?  How are your kiddies??  Hope the fluid from steamboat has gone and the scales are kinder to you today

Hello to all our missing challengers (Sim, chicky, veron, & anyone else I've forgotton).

Happy Tuesday all

Oh food so far, one skinny flat white, one choc shake and I have started on my water   I have homemade vegie soup to have for lunch and will have another shake mid afternoon.  Steak & vegies for dinner

Be good Gang

Took a coffee for my friend (and one for me too!!), dumped Blake and took the girls to the shops to stock up on a few supplies. Girls are now happily watching Barbie Thumbelina and doing fashion sticker book stuff in the play room. My stove is choc-a-block full of stuff cooking. I've got spag bol sauce on, chicken/vegie curry and cauli/leek soup - all bubbling away nicely!!!

About to set the girls up to make their own designer pizzas for lunch - got pita bread for the bases, pizza sauce, tomatoes, capsicum, onion, mushrooms, bacon, pineapple and cheese for them to use - they want to try and make happy face pizzas - too cute!! As long as they eat it all!!

I've just had 1L of water and 3 SF caramel chews to keep the sweet craving at bay. Will blitz the soup when it is cooked and have a nice bowl full soon.

Kim - there is nothing worse than negative people - especially in the work place. It does nothing to inspire productivity and brings other workers down too. I'm sure with your beaming smile you'll make the other workers see past his grumpiness!!! Have you decided whether you'll be the fantastic curried sausage making mother today??!!!

Trace - nice to see the scales moving down even after one day. Makes it so much easier to keep the momentum going. I hear you about going to bed not feeling bloated - anything bad or carby in the evening makes for a very restless nights sleep.

Nikki - how'd you go at weigh in??

Hi Lexy - is it cold down there again today??

Time to go and stir a few pots and get the oven on for the pizzas.

Steph x

morning girls, very productive morning in here so far

How did your weigh in go Nikki? i reckon at least 900gram gone

well i am trying real hard to be back on today, as usual am ok during hte day its at night when kidlets go to bed and then i end up eating things that i shouldnt. but today is another new day, and i will try even harder, as you said i only have 1 month til we leave and yes it would be good to be at least 4 kilos lighter. I didnt weigh in today had my breaky before i thought of it, so will do that tomorrow and adjust my ticker etc, i think i will have about 9 kilo to go to get to 58.

We were looking at some photos the other day of this time last year and i was at goal and what a difference 9 kilos makes.

On a positive note, i saw my front neighbour yesterday and i dont see her very often well she looks fantastic, i told her so and she said she is on tf, and has lost 17kilo since Jan this year, so happy for her

hope everyone is having a great day.

I went outside to sweep the front porch. It was filthy thanks to Krash dragging everything onto it. Ended up doing an hour of gardening. There was sweeping, shovelling stuff, clipping bushes, scooping dog poo. I now have a wheelbarrow load of stuff for mr kim to do something with. I realised that I had never pushed a wheelbarrow before and it is not as simple as it looks!!! I think I took off half the garage door trying to manoeuvre it through. Mr kim will be thrilled. The front garden is looking better though. I will drop into Bunnings after collecting son1 from work and purchase an outside broom so the mess actually moves instead of clumps into piles.

How much poo can one puppy do??

Doing that took my mind off my hungry day for a while. So far today, I've had a shake and munch bar and SOME water. Best get stuck into that!! Thinking about a decaf now to fill up and warm up a little. It is a beautifully sunny day here in Melb today but I still have the heater on inside.

Today's washing is done and yes Steph, I am still planning on doing curried sausages for 'their' dinner. Mine will be fish and steam fresh veges.

Short post from Lexy this morning. Has Zackcat got your tongue?

where is Nikki??

I'm having my soup right now, some butter bread with it would be nice   My work collegue often buys this japanese beef rice dish and always puts some in a bowl for me.  Today I saw him pick up the bowl and I said thanks but no thanks, I'm not eating rice at the moment........god it smelt so so so good !!  Anyway I took myself off for a 45 min walk to the shops while he ate it

Nearly finished my 1.5ltr bottle of water...will skull it now and start a new one !!

Well done on using gardening as a hunger distraction Kim!!!! I hate cleaning up dog wilma!! Thankfully my uncle walks Buster every day and he seems to do all his nasty business while out and about - thank goodness!!!

Trace - good on you for saying no to the rice! I had some soup for lunch and agree some buttered bread would have really been good with it!!! Damn those tasty carbs LOL!!

The pizza's were a success and the girls have almost finished watching Labyrinth - an old movie with David Bowie playing a goblin king - has lots of Jim Henson's puppets in it (the Muppet's creator) and they are really enjoying it - although they run out of the room in the 'scary' bits!!! As soon as it is finished it will be time to swap children and pick Blake up.

Have had 2L water now - hard today as it is overcast and damn cold. Also ate a bowl of strawberries and they have filled me up nicely.

Steph x
