Good morning ladies.

Steph - eww to spew from you. I'll join you in that sit ups challenge next week. Has to be better than the sucky push ups one. Moving house is traditionally a stressful time. Poor you having to find a rental. Think positively and something will come up. Remember that worrying is nothing more than negative goal setting. Don't allow it. Things always work out. Good news about the hospital tests. Doctor sister = proud other sister. Good for her. Shame her friends are dheads.

Rose - hope you got an early night. Glad all kids at home and work were good for you. How is gaz's (hehe) new job going? Can't wait to see you in 6 sleeps.

Sim - what a long post, missy. Enjoy a quiet weekend. Hope you got some stuff done in your office and can see some order there now. 1.5kg a week is absolutely doable. Focus, focus, focus, my love.

Julie - ick about the girl flying the coop. I bet I would be a mess if IF my boys ever left for that long. Babies are meant to have 'adventure bumps' on their heads. They have to be exploring. Take them for a walk in the sun this morning. It will be good for you. Well done on nearing good food headspace. Today is the day.

Trace - thanks for the dinner date last night. I forgot to give you some money for um 'coffee'. Enjoy your time with Nik today. Bet you are excited about him coming home. Enjoy the city break. Trace's client is a perfectly reasonable type who just encourages her accountant with positive reminders!!!! Don't be so hard on the 'client'.

Mrs M - almost done at that hell work? A new adventure awaits you. Don't stress over pay or people not talking. Pretty soon you can turn your back on that and move forward to such exciting adventures with Barry and the girls. This is a minor hiccup in what is sure to be a fantastic next 10 years. I've got a big hug for you next Friday.

Nikki - you missing, lady? I am so pleased you are coming along to Sydney. Hope you find a smashing new dress. Have we ordered the weather with Rosey yet? SUnshine and warm is my wish please.

PL - sorry your doggy is feeling unwell. Hope it all works out well without costing you a small fortune. You can get to under 100kg by xmas too. Just put your nose to the grindstone and go for it. Have you had your hair done yet? I bet it's like being the wife of a builder.... nothing ever gets done around your own house. Am I right? Ring and make an appointment!!! BTW, there is no tone in my arms whatsoever.... just a world of pain.

Lexy - last 2 days before starting your new adventure. How excitement. What's on the agenda for this weekend? Any new dates?

'Bout time I had a decent catch up that involved talking about more than me!!!! I can read your thoughts. Have to fly now and get son2 to tennis. Mr kim is in bed with a migraine and has been since yesterday, son1 is off to his mate's bday party today. I am doing washing and getting some sun on my skin. Sounds good... except for the mr kim thing. Oh, had my nails redone last night so they are spiffy (and a manageable length) for typing, doing up buttons and generally living life with the ability to pick up a pen and stuff.

Oh, an attendee at one of our 'events' yesterday said to me "I'd love to have your job. You do nothing, do you!" She followed it up with "oh, maybe there are things that go on behind the scenes". Smile sweetly, smile sweetly, smile sweetly. I mean did she think the celebrant, caterer, staff, attendants, care, paperwork, cem arrangements all happened by accident? Maybe the caterer was passing by and dropped in hoping for a job on the day!!!

Have to run. Catch you all later. 28 here today!!!!

Good morning lovelies

The fog has lifted and the bounce is on it's way back   I woke up pain free this morning (sympathies to Mr Kim) and have been able to put the wilma in perspective.

Mum is on her way up - we are going to Richmond to do her Christmas shopping and maybe some of mine - it is a beautiful day to be over there.  She is staying tonight and we are catching up with Miss M#2 to work out what flowers she wants her Granny to embroider on the wedding dress.

So I will hopefully catchup properly tomorrow night.

I'm so looking forward to next weekend now

Wonderful weekend to you all - see you tomorrow

Thanks for the blinkie Mally

Hello Everyone - welcome to your weekend

Glad your head is feeling better Mrs M - I was getting worried about you!

I'm waiting for a tradesman to turn up. I want to get some cupboards built under my stairs as I have zero storage space here. Obviously these units were designed by a man . Hopefully he turns up soon as I want to go for my walk before it gets too muggy!

I went to the Opera House last night and saw the SSO - they were pretty amazing. We had seats in the first row behind the orchestra which is a really cool spot to be. You feel like you're part of the band

Claire - how is the puppy today? Hope he's better?

Kim - no-one ever really knows what other people do for work, so don't worry about that twit. Maybe one day she will learn some tact! Any more thoughts on what you will do for your 40th?

Trace - enjoy having Nic back tonight!!

Sim - how lovely to see you on here . Hope you got the office sorted out?

Nikki - where are you? Hope all is well in slapland?

Rose - loved the "you hang up" skit.....reminded me of being 15yo again!

Steph - Any luck on getting a rental yet?

Susan - hello...how are you?

Julie - hope you got the boys outside for a walk today.

I feeli like I've missed someone....saturday mornign fog brain I'm afraid. Eeek it's going to be hard gettign my dole brain back into gear next week....I quite enjoy not having to do a lot of thinking!

I'm having a sleep over at D's place tonight...what do I pack??? It's so much harder for a girl to do a sleep over than a guy,,,do I take my straightener, hair dryer, hair products etc??

Hope this tradie turns up soon - he';s already 10min late

A sleep over, Lexy!!! Probably not a good idea to take all that crap. Do you want to be screaming 'high maintenance'? Have fun!! Overnight bag, not a suitcase. Hope the tradie is hot and has to do alot of bending. Enjoy your work. Dole brain will disappear and you'll love smart brain again. I don't know what SSO is but yay for going to see it/them. Mr kim and I were just talking about my party for about 1/2 hour but nothing has been resolved except that it will be at home. Trace scared me last night by pointing out that people are busy the weekend before xmas. I can't help my bday being then though. Naughty mum for having me prematurely. I will ring and scold her.

Rose - what an early bird you were today. How many bday parties are you taking the kids to this weekend. It's all you seem to do!!

Yay for the grumpiness lifting, Mrs M. Have fun with your mummy and daughter today. Oooh, xmas shopping!! Love that. Getting excited and want to start it NOW.

Second load of exciting washing on. Beautiful day forming out there. Missed my friend's bday yesterday so will ring her today. I always think it's on the 9th. Her hubby texted me last night to remind. It's the lady I caught up with at the gc shopping centre. She is now 40.... crikey. That's ridiculous. Sorry 40+ girls out there.

Have written out my invitation list for my bday party and hung out 3 loads of washing. Mr kim is still in bed, as is son1. Son2 is safely home from tennis after being smashed by the opposition. He was the only one from his team playing with 2 fill ins and one just missing.

I am feeling hungry as it is almost lunch time. Oh, head spin. Didn't go to hell class because it was 10.30am by the time I looked at the clock. Oh well, my poor old bod could use the break this weekend.

Beautiful day out there. Sat in the sun waiting for son2 to finish and now have a bit of pink on my flabby arms. Man vein is back!! Pretty me.

Looks like everyone but me has better things to do today. I've just taken the doggies to the park for a quick walkies. It is hot up there and my flabby arms revelled with the sun touching them. Amazing how quickly the sun burns you though. I am nicely pinkish but far from red. 30 mins was all the exposure they got.

Mr kim is still in bed pretty much zonked out on migraine tabs. He'll stay there until tomorrow morning at least. Taken son2 to his party friend's house. Have to stay up until 11pm to pick him up. poos.

Off to busy myself doing..... something. Bored.

Afternoon girls!!

Rose – love your choice of programs to watch last night LOL – you’re right they are top quality!! Good no need to use brain viewing material there!! I reckon you and Gaz should go on the Amazing Race – I can just see you trying to make decisions on which way to go and Gaz debating every point with you LMAO!! Hope Lincraft was fun today – if that is even possible!! I hate sewing too!

Julie – ouchies for the poor little fella!! My kids were constantly covered in bruises and such – they were soooo clumsy!! I was always worried that people thought that I was a bad mother!

PL – your poor dog!! Is he old or young?? At least you have a good vet that you can talk to about it all. Hope he’s much better soon. LOL about the fankles – we call them cankles!!! Good old QLD humidity can be assured to bring them on!!

Kim – what a massive post from you this morning!! Ok – so you, Rose and me are in for the situp challenge – anyone else!! The reward will be a big piece of cake on Friday afternoon LOL – or perhaps not!! We should not be rewarding ourselves with food!!!  Hope Mr Kim is better tonight! I’ve had a headache since having my gastro but can’t imagine how bad a migraine must be. LOL about the funeral attendee and her comments – some people have no idea!! Paul’s bday is the same day as yours I think – 18th!! He is always frustrated as people are attending Christmas parties and have no interest in birthdays!!! I had my flabby arms out in the sun today too – figure they look better brown and flabby than white and pasty and flabby!!

Mrs M – glad to hear you sounding much more like your cheerful self this morning. Glad your migraine has finally decided to disappear. Hope you have had a lovely day with your Mum shopping. I loved Richmond when we were in Tassie – gorgeous spot!

Trace – glad to hear that your hellish tax client was at least a good dinner date LOL!! Hope you have a lovely time in the city with your boy tonight!!

Lexy – I envy you being able to go to the Opera House to see stuff like that. The Gold Coast is many things – but I would not class it highly cultural. That’s probably the only thing I miss about living in Adelaide where we had the Fringe Festival etc. Hope the tradie turned up and you can get what you want at a decent price. Ooohhh a sleepover!! I would pack enough stuff to make sure I can make myself look presentable in the morning!! Crap but that would mean hairdryer, straightener, makeup etc etc – the joys of being female!!

Sim – you’ve done so well with checking in on here the last week or so!! Saw on FB about the vego Christmas pud with Guiness!! Apart from the vego bit that is something Paul would love – he is a Guiness whore!!

A big hello to all and any I have missed – hope you are having a great weekend.

Well last night we had the babysitter come – who has broken up with her boyfriend and is now more readily available for us again – YAY for me but not for her!! Had dinner at the Surf Club for a couple of friends birthdays. My stomach was still saying do not eat – so I had a couple of Lemon Lime Bitters and Mineral water. Soon saw that the group we were with was there for the long haul so we bailed at 9pm and went and caught a late movie – The Time Traveler’s Wife – I’ve read the book – the movie was good but the book was better. Eric Bana was pretty good in it too.

This morning I went for a very slow walk and then breakfast with a friend – and couldn’t get through half of my vegie omelette!! Maybe getting gastro was a blessing in disguise as I have no real appetite back yet!! Then took girls to a 3yr old birthday party for a few hours, drove past the land to see the latest progress – not much!! It will be all action over the next two weeks.

No rental found yet. We have put an application in for one – but today a couple of friends offered to take our dog for the time we would be renting so we can perhaps look at an apartment near the water and have a little seaside holiday for six months. They come furnished and unfurnished – so if we sell a lot of our old furniture and store the rest it may be a good option.

Early night tonight as I got only about 5 hours sleep thanks to early rising kids and late bedtime!!

Hoping to take the kids to see their new baby cousin tomorrow – but really should start packing!!! Have a great Saturday night - especially Lexy and Trace - woo hoo!!! LOL!

Steph x
