Ugh....awake early again!! 5.40am this time

Sorry to hear Georgie had a seizure - poor little doggie....

First day went well - lots of info overload and trying to work out what acronyms mean when people are talking....I think in telco's especially we love to abbreviate things and each company I've worked for all use their own lingo. Hopefully I will learn it pretty soon so I know what they mean!

o.k - off to jump in the shower and head off for day 2.

Have a great day and see you all tomorrow night! Can someone pls send me the appartment details on the facebook thread so I can bring the clothes over tomorrow night before dinner at Chinta Ria. Thanks!

Good morning ladies.

Well done Lexy on being up so early. You must be excited to get to work today!! Hope you enjoy day # 2. See you tomorrow.

1 sleep to go, Sydney travellers!!! How exciting.

Hope Georgie is feeling better today. THe seizure probably was the stress of the vet visit (says she with all the vet experience in the world.)

My baby cow is feeling better today. I can put weight on it again. The burn thingy is still there but smaller. I am taking shorts and singlet to work to change into for the drive home. My car was supposed to be fixed (air con) today but I am a million miles away from that area now so have to rebook.

Waxing tonight and packing for me - no kb or other class until next week. Wonder how long it will take to get to my new work this morning? I will just leave at normal time and get there when I do. Taking stuff to entertain me today until computer arrives this afternoon. Me feels this will be a long day.

Have a great Thursday all. For many of us this is the last day of the working week..... some of us are domestic engineers and retired ladies of leisure so will be relaxing (or chasing kids) already. Happy day!!!!

Lexy - I will help you out with some of the acronyms that I know.... hope this helps.....

WTF - something didn't go quite right.

FFS - it's still not right and the person is getting frustrated.

MF - the stapler is out of staples and the person who has to fill it feels annoyed about it.

GTFO - I wish you to leave and I am adamant about it.

TGIF - you can start talking in real words again from 5pm.

LMAO at your acronyms Kim and how correct they are

I'm sure the vet stress caused Georgies seizure - you wouldn't know it now - we have just had a walk and she is zooming around the house like a maniac!

Good to hear the baby calf is better today and you have plenty to do to keep you occupied until the fun stuff arrives this afternoon.  Even though it is boring at the moment you must be very excited about what is to come with the new branch

I hope Lexy didn't fall asleep on the train and dribble like Trace

Have defuzzed and lightly tanned (thanks to Dove ), toenails need re-colouring and fingernails need a shine.  Will head to the bank for my spendings first and other chores.

The sun is now coming out - yaaay!  BBL

Morning!

Kim - LMAO off at your acronyms - they are funny because they are true!! Hope the day doesn't drag on too much for you and you're cool and comfy in your shorts and singlet on the way home!!

Lexy - glad to hear work went well. I'm sure you'll get the hang of all the lingo in no time at all. Looking forward to catching up tomorrow night!

Mrs M - poor little Georgie - must be scary to see that happen. Glad he is all better today. Have fun at the caterers with your fellow MILtobe!! I better start thinking about packing and grooming myself too!!

Had a good but slow on my part game of netball last night. We won although it felt like we lost - they were a very good team to play. All the stopping and starting played havoc with my back but it seems a little better after my gorgeous pilates instructor helped me with some exercises this morning. Must remember - sore back means he will come and help get me into certain stretch positions - NICE!!!

Need to pop out to the shops to run some errands, get some food for the family for while I'm away, go and give the real estate agents some not so gentle encouragement to get selling our house again, and then home to do some packing before the school run, after school swimming etc etc etc!!

Hope you're all having a great day!!

Steph x

Ironing nearly done - got a bit bored with Mr M's shirts

Well done on winning netball last night Steph.  Hope you find the time to throw a few bits and pieces into your case before tomorrow.  What time are you arriving?  How did the standover tactics go at the real estate agents

Don't damage your nails while packing Trace

Suitcase is down and ready for filling.

This time tomorrow..........

Well the suitcase is out sitting on the floor in my bedroom - but nothing is in it yet!!

Standover tactics worked well - I think. Got a call from the agent wanting to bring people through on Saturday morning - so I guessed my pressuring them worked. Got a call from the old buyers solicitor saying that they look like signing a contract on their house again tonight or tomorrow - will see what transpires there!! Funny how the agent didn't say anything about that to me this morning!

Had a nice chat with Kim while I was driving around! Thought I'd remind her how much I can talk before seeing her again LOL!! Looking forward to some good face to face time with everyone tomorrow! My flight gets in at 12.30pm - flying Virgin Blue.

Have just washed my jarmies to take away - might go stare at my wardrobe and see what wants to jummp into my case!! I'm going to try - for the first time ever - to not overpack and just take the necessities. Not sure how well that will work!!

Back later.

Steph x
