This is a question for anyone that has had a c-section. You will know what i mean about the muffin-top lol. I have a bulge about my scar which i am worried will get worse as my skin gets looser. Now I have lost weight I also have a noticeable bulge below my scar too which I hate more than the other bulge. I guess it wasnt as noticeable when I had a big gut but I can really see it now. I fill my undies in an unsightly way. Sounds gross hey! I dont know if I should say this but its like I have a fat fanny pmsl did i just say that!?!?!?!

So, will this go away?????? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease say yes!!!!!!

Ksim - looks like its just you and me with the c-section muffin top lol.

Think i can handle the upper one but the lower one is yuck. Glad at least that one will go away. Geez, this is yet another reason that I wish I had had natural births. Oh well.

hey there...

well I dont know if it gets worse with the more c sections you have but Ive had 2 and I have the fat fanny syndrome thingy too haha sounds so funny, but it only got a bulge on the bottom bit after my 2nd wasnt there after my 1st I have now lost all my after baby weight and have 3 kilos to go, and my top one and lower bulge are both still there, but if it makes you feel any better my lower one is pretty much gone and the tops not as bad, but after my 1st one I was on TF lost al the weight and it all went away, but my secret was exercise bike riding everyday it all went flat all I ended up with was a little loose skin and a little indent where my scar was. But at the moment I cant exercise from my c section 4 months ago so Ill have to live with it for now. So all in all I think if you work to get rid of it it is possible but you will always have a little bit of skin there, you can make it heaps better though. lucky for us women arent c sections just wonderful

I'm in the c-section club too. 3 in 4 years!!! I have the under and the over bulge - the under is shrinking but the more fat that leaves the over bulge the more loose stretched skin there seems to be!! My obstetrician called it a caesarean 'apron'!!! I just call it the 'flap' or the ledge!!!! Hubby better work hard next year - tummy tuck here I come!!!
