FIRST STEP (9/01/2009)
Hi there

How long have you been on the program and how much did you have to lose?  I do not sleep well and my biggest problem is the 12 at night eating.  I am in a habit of going to bed at 2am and getting up at 8am.

Is there somwhere that I can enter my weight and track as I go along.  I saw on one of the other members pages they have like a virtual before and after picture, do you now where it can be done.

Regards

Amanda G

You can find the Virtual models @ : www.virtualmodel.com . hope this helps, also i think there is a pin-up in one of the sections of the forum with all the cool website and stuff!

I am struggling to even eat my fruit serves each day, let alone having a salad for lunch plus a whole 3 cups of veges for dinner. I am tempted to not eat, cos I'm not hungry but Im worried it will be detrimental to my weightloss. I have a hell of a lot to lose, so I am also supposed to be having 2 protein serves per day.  I am really hoping that I am only feeling like this because I am just starting out. I know I need to train my metabolism to start working harder - by eating less more often (which is exactly what TFD does)

Hiya

I too struggled to start with, as I hardly used to eat before starting TF.  I went onto the 2nd serve of protein around week 4 and I struggled to fit that in.

You need the fruit for fibre, and also to keep your blood sugar regular (not spiking).  The veges are 3 cups min a day, so any you consume at lunch come out of that allowance.  So if you are haing a salad for lunch, then you can eat less for dinner, and that might allow you to fit a fruit in after dinner.

I eat my 2nd protien on it's own.  On those days that I am out and add a salad to it, I find it hard to fit in the 2nd shake.

It is always hard int he first week, but it does get easier and your body will adjust.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

I've just started. Would it be okay if I had half my protein for breakfast, fruit for snack, TF soup for lunch, fruit snack, the other half of my protein for dinner (at 6pm) and then my shake for supper at around 9pm. I like a warm drink before going to bed... helps me sleep.

Thanks for all your advice.

I started at 81.5kg,  now weighing in at 79kg and would like to lose a further 5kg! just to keep me motivated.  I am having fun running (on my own, with my Ipod on loud & NO KIDS). lol

Does the Chromium actually work?

Just wondering if anyone will be honest with me here...please.....

If we can have a salad for lunch, I don't necessarily feel like a shake as well....Is this program going to work just as well without that 2nd shake???

I always have a shake for breakky and fruit for snacks, vegies and protein for dinner.....

Thanks

Just saw a previous post about McDonalds coffee... oooooooooo I missed that soooo much

I've found an awesome replacement though... I add a teaspoon of low-caffiene coffee to my vanilla or choc shake powder, mix it to a paste with a little warm water, then top it up with boiling/hot water... instant mocha or vanilla latte for brekky... yummo

Take two Simply Fibre capsules with it and you're full as a goog

DEE ANGEL

The diet works best for weightloss if you have the 2 shakes and a balanced protein meal a day, otherwise you can go into starvation mode and either plateau or worse sdtill gain weight!

please if you're going to do the TF diet, do it as prescribed for best results, if the salad at luchtime makes you full, skip it, and have your 2nd shake, just be sure to have 3 cups+ vegies for tea or as nibbles in between when you get a hungry spot, it is not compolsory at lunchtime...the fruit also is optional :O)
