Vallyval (7/09/2009)
I've been on TF for 8 weeks now, and have been finding it hard to get through the afternoons without grabbing a handful (or 2) of jatz or other crackers. I'm just craving something a bit more substantial in the afternoons. was thinking of maybe saving a shake to these times to see how that works. Anyone else have this problem?

remember there are  these below, hope this is of some help

The 100 calorie snacks are no longer part of our Program,
however you still may have the philly light cream cheese to make your notatoes.

As per our new updates yoghurt is a treat option,
you may have 1/2 cup skim milk per day , therefore the skim milk cappochino will be fine,
unlimited diet cordial home made ice blocks are still fine.

and...

Maximum of 2 treats per week in addition to your typical day.

These are optional:

LOW CARBOHYDRATE CHOCLOLATE, BARS, WAFERS & WRAPS

TF  Choclette Bars (Dark & Milk)  1 Bar
TF Wraps  1 Wrap
Sugarless Co Chocolate Coated Wafer Bars   1/2 wafer bar
Chocolate Blue Blocks:  4 small squares (1 Row_ (milk, hazelnut, dark and Bitter sweet)
or 2 large squares (1 Row) (White & Cranberry)
chocolate Truffles  1 truffle
Extra Crispy Wafers  5 wafers

you are allowed 10g (appx dessertspoon ) of grated parmesan cheese occasionally*

LOW CARB ICE CREAM: Peter's no sugar added = 2 golf ball sized scoops (100g)

Below are some yoghurt options that are now Treat options

Choose one option up to twice per week

. Attiki Acidophilus Natural Skim Yoghurt ( l Tub/200g)

. Dairy Farmers Traditional  Lite Yoghurt ( l Tub/125g)

. Nestle Diet Yoghurt (l Tub/200g)

. Yoplait Forme No Fat Yoghurt (l Tub/175gr)

ALCOHOL ALLOWANCE
dry white wine ,
low carb beer
and vodka with a caffeine free diet soda/soft drink
it can only be for a treat occassionally not all the time .

TIPS FOR TREATS:

Space your treats out over the week by choosing two treat days.
Try having the low carb ice cream with some TF diet jelly.
Mix 1/2 a glass of wine with diet lemonade or soda water to make a spritzer

 Caffeine

Limit caffeine intake, you may hove:

. I cup of regular coffee OR 3 cups of decaffeinated coffee OR

. 3 cups of regular tea OR 5 cups of green Tea

. Unlimited herbal or decaffeinated Tea may be consumed

Mallyflea

I just started the program on 3/17/09 and so far so good.  I appreciate your information and it helps. I am looking forward to this program as I KNOW I have tried everything to lose weight.  I am so afraid of failing this and if I do, not sure what else to do.

Thanks, Jarae

Hi there hun, I see you aren't here much, this is the place to come for the support and mateship to help keep on track, don't stress about slipping now and again, after all we are all only human, never look back, just keep surging forward and no looking back, the challenhges are great for motivation and some fun along the way, I hope we see more of you soon.

Mally XOXO

Mally flea,

Are you sure you don't have Angel wings at the back?

Thanks for being sooooooooo helpfull to us Newbies here... we can feel we are stumbling along in the dark in the beginning.

Menu ideas are a great help. Look fwd to that in the future. Still cautiously at the shakes and salad stage myself.

2nd weigh in this Friday 9/10/09  coming .

Using your comments , guidance, and encouragement to adjust to healthier eating patterns.

Hugs  and the TF way of life.

Appreciative ,

Miss O
