PLEASE READ THE FORUM CODE OF CONDUCT AND GUIDELINES

Please read the following Code of Conduct and guidelines very carefully. By proceeding to use our Forum you agree to adhere to these rules and guidelines and must obey them at all times. Refusal to obey these guidelines will result in the appropriate responsive actions.

Introduction

The purpose of the Tony Ferguson Weightloss Program Forum is to support our members in their weight loss journey and to provide information on our products and Program.  The Forum provides a community where members can share their experiences; seek the support and guidance of our staff and of other members who have shared the journey themselves.

Our Forum

This guide is designed to strike a balance between the main goal of our Forum providing support, and keeping the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for our members.

All material posted or uploaded to the Forum remains the property of the original author. The administrators of this site reserve the right, without notice, to access or view all such material (including posts, profile information, emails sent through the Forum software, and Personal Messages (PMs), to edit the subject of a post, or to move, reclassify, or delete any post or other material that is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or fails to conform to these Forum rules.

Tony Ferguson Weightloss cannot determine the accuracy of information that may be uploaded to the Forum therefore opinions, advice and all other information expressed by participants in discussions are those of the author. You rely on such information at your own risk. You are urged to seek professional advice for specific, individual situations and not rely solely on advice or opinions given in the discussions.

Forum Specific Rules

1.        We require all posts to be positive, polite, constructive, and on topic.  You may not make personal attacks on other members or staff members either in public Forums or private messages.

2.        You may not copy to, upload to, post to or otherwise distribute on this web site anything protected by copyright or other proprietary rights unless the owner of the applicable copyright or proprietary right has given you express written authorisation for such copying, uploading, posting or distribution.

3.        Any material for which permission has been granted to copy, upload, post or otherwise distribute must contain all requisite copyright management notices and language indicating that such material is being used by express permission of the owner thereof.

4.        The unauthorised use, uploading, posting, and/or distribution of content protected by copyright or other proprietary rights is illegal and may subject the malfeasant to civil penalties and criminal prosecution.

5.        You are prohibited from copying to, uploading to, posting to or otherwise distributing on this web site any unlawful, threatening, obscene, improper, intimidating, libellous, defamatory or slanderous comments, jokes, images or content that are intended to or are likely to offend a reasonable person on the basis of his or her age, physical or mental disability, gender, race, religion, national origin, physical attributes, or any other classification that could produce any civil or criminal liability for either yourself or for Tony Ferguson, its shareholders, employees, agents, affiliates or any such similarly situated persons or entities. We encourage every member to treat every other member with mutual respect.

6.        There will be no profanity or foul language. It is unprofessional and offensive and will not be tolerated. Any un-called for language will be removed and you will receive a final warning. Inappropriate or offensive language includes, but is not limited to, any language or content that is sexually oriented, sexually suggestive or abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, or that contains racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind.

7.        We will not tolerate disruptive activity online, such as persistent off-colour, deliberately argumentative or inharmonious comments and postings or statements that incite others to violate this Code of Conduct, or participate in illegal activities. Any post or thread that is deemed to present this Forum poorly may result in deletion, a warning or banning of the posting member.

8.        Spamming is not permitted.  No one likes it, you don't, so it's fairly obvious that our members don't either. To SPAM includes sending identical and irrelevant submissions to many different Forum areas. Usually such postings have nothing to do with the particular topic of the group or are of no real interest to those on the mailing list. To SPAM also includes misrepresenting the source of anything you say or post. Spamming is a serious violation of online etiquette.

9.        Pornography, warez, or any other illegal transactions may NOT be linked in any shape or form.

10.      Pictures may be posted as long as they are not explicit or offensive. If you plan to post more than one image, or the topic is based on graphics, please link the images rather than embedding them – this assists members on low speed links.

11.      Signatures may contain images, but may not be any larger than 300 pixels high. If your signature is larger than the allotted size given or deemed unacceptable by staff, you will be requested by a moderator to resize or change your image. Please also try and keep text signatures under 10 lines. Failing to comply with a moderator's request will result in the removal of your signature – this assists with the speed to load of the Forum.

12.      The Tony Ferguson Weightloss Forum is not to be used for trading/swapping, selling or advertising non-Tony Ferguson products, services or other online venues.

13.      Should you find a post(s) that seems inappropriate, please feel free to notify our Moderators. If you have an issue with a Moderator, please use our private messaging system to message the Moderator or Administrator. Personal issues between Moderators and members may not be posted publicly and will be deleted without notice.

14.      Any impersonation of a user within these Forums, in any mode of communication, is strictly prohibited and will result in a banning.

15.      Violation of any of these rules will result in consequences determined on a case-by-case basis.

16.      All posts must be written in English.

17.      We further reserve our right to disable any account at any time for any reason and without notice. If there are any rules or guidelines you do not understand or you require further assistance, please contact us via our help desk at forum@tonyferguson.com.

Private Messages

The same rules apply to private messages as apply in the Forum area. Do not abuse the Private Message system in any way. It is not there to provide an avenue for 'off the record' harassment. Complaints received about Private Messages will be dealt with in the same manner as complaints received from the general Forum.

Private Messages are called Private Messages because they are.... Private!

Please don't post other people's private messages to the public section of the board without their permission.

You may forward the messages to a moderator if you're having trouble with someone, but you may not post them in the public part of the Forum for everyone to see.

Member Names and User Information

While this Forum encourages the use of usernames, members who sign up with names that contravene the above rules on harassment and profanity will be asked to change them.

Likewise, people whose avatars break the rules will be asked to remove them.

Setting up more than one user account for the Forum is not permitted. The creation of multiple accounts will result in the removal of all of those accounts from the Forum, and the creator of those accounts will be asked not to return. Please be aware that all IP addresses of people posting are logged - we can tell who you are and where you are posting from at all times.

Upon registration or by proceeding to use our Forum, you agree to adhere to these guidelines and must obey them at all times. Refusal to obey these guidelines will result in the appropriate responsive actions.

Determination of what constitutes a breach of the Tony Ferguson Weightloss Program Forum rules and guidelines rests solely with the Forum staff.

Acceptance

I understand that by using this web site, I am subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein. Notwithstanding the foregoing, I accept and agree to be bound by all such terms and conditions.

It is important that all members read the Code of Conduct (CoC), several sections of the Code of Conduct have been amended.

If you have any questions on the CoC you can email them to forum@tonyferguson.com, or PM any of the moderators or administrators.

I would like to remind everyone that all forum members agree to abide by the CoC, as part of participating in the forum.

If you have not read the CoC, you should do so.

I also remind all users of the following paragraph

"Setting up more than one user account for the Forum is not permitted. The creation of multiple accounts will result in the removal of all of those accounts from the Forum, and the creator of those accounts will be asked not to return. Please be aware that all IP addresses of people posting are logged - we can tell who you are and where you are posting from at all times."

If you do have more than one account, but notify us of this so that the supplemental accounts can be removed, we will consider continuing your forum membership.
