Dear All,

We are currently writing an article for the next quarterly TF Magazine about PCOS and how being on the Tony Ferguson Weightloss Program can reduce the symptons associated with this.

If you are someone that has found your symptoms have been reduced since being on our program, we would love to hear from you.

Please forward your details including your contact telephone number and a convenient time to contact you to enquiries@tonyferguson.com

Thank you.

Kind regards,

I have PCOS. I have only just started the TFD tho (TFD = tony ferguson diet)

I can see how TFD would help with PCOS. PCOS causes you to gain weight. The more weight you gain the greater the symptoms of PCOS. So in turning around the weight gain, there should be significant drops in PCOS symptoms. (I hope... fingers crossed)

P.C.O.S stands for Polycystic Ovarian Symdrome or can be P.C.O.D same but Disorder. Normal regular cycles will produce a cyst on the ovary which will pop when your ovulate (hence getting preg with a bit of luck). With P.C.O.S/D it doesn't pop so there for no ovulation and in most cases no period the next month. Pcos causes weight gain in most women although there are women who are of normal weigh/height range that also suffer. Another side effect with pocs is the unblance of your hormones which then starts they vicious cycle no period, weight gain, imbalanced hormones. Having pcos and being over weight can also lead to type 2Diabetes and although I'm not offically classed as a Diabetic I am on medication to help balance out my sugar level which then helps with the hormone level and the Pcos. Hope this has helped somewhat. Feel free to contact me not that I'm an expert by any means but was disagnosed nearly 10yrs ago.
