Hi,
I have also just started the program and have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrom). I found out in 2004 when I couldn't get pregnant with my second child. I'm hoping the diet does help, currently I'm up to 3 months without a period and I tell ya it aint good for me OR my family (and no, i'm not pregnant!)!!!!! So here is hoping that the diet will help out in some way...?

I too suffer from PCOS. Had a scan last week and discovered that my right ovarian cyst has bled out so I dont have to go into surgery and have it drained. Going in under the microscope next month (god how embarrassing) to have my uterus and polyps checked to see what we're gunna do about them. On average I bled for 3 out of 4 weeks a month and so far nothing has worked. At one stage I was taking 3 different hormone tablets and found that although I wasnt bleeding constantly I was always crying. The doctor has discuss the Mirina implant but after reading alot of information on it I've decided that its just way to radical with way to many bad side affects to do this so who knows what'll happen.
Anyway thats my story!
Love and best wishes Chrissy

hi girls,
although i myself do not suffer with pcos two of my close friends do. i have seen them both go thru really hard times trying to have children. one has been successful and now has a beautiful daughter while the other is still trying and struggles with her weight. from what i do know about this problem it seems lowering your weight is meant to help. so i wish you all the very best loosing those extra kilos and achieving your goals. go hard!

Hi Ladies,
I can tell you all now that reducing your weight regardless of how you do it (i found T/F the best) will help reduce the side affects of pcos! This is my 2nd time on T/F and both time have ended up preg (lost 1) and reduced my symptoms at the same time. Good luck on your weight loss journey to help reduce symptoms, get preg, get healthy and have a better life
