I am a nursing assistant and I work in a heart ward where i see lots of patients having open heart surgery...I even had a patient drop dead on me while I was showering him..I love my job i love looking after patients but it comes with a huge responsibility and yes at times i have come home in tears as you do get attached to some of them........

I was working in childcare, but gave it up. The "very large company" I worked for asked for too much blood, sweat and tears and offered nothing in return. I went to another privately run centre and it was cr@p. Ended up getting the sack from there (how hard do you really have to work to be fired? lol) and after a few months of doing nothing decided to study.

Currently, I'm signed up to study naturopathy and I've also decided to establish my own skin care business again. I had one once before and really enjoyed it, so I'm going back to what I know I love.

HI there, it is rea;;y interesting to hear all of the different things people  are doing!! I am a registered nurse and i work at a kids hospital, i look aafter kids who have liver and kidney disease, usually requiring transplants at some stage of their little lives.  I love it these kids are so special and teach me so much , they teach me perseverance and hope, and that life is what you make of it , not of what your situation is!!

Hi

Im a mum, grandma, housewife.  I have had several jobs, including catering, waitressing, working my way up to be a manager of a motorcycle shop, working for a very large company as personal assistant, but the paid job i absolutely loved the most was my role as an ain/personal carer.  Its not the best paying job in the world, and yes at times it is heartbreaking, but knowing that you have made the life of someone just that little bit more special is the best payment you can get.

I would like to get into something i can do at home, which would also allow me to get out and about but i have yet to find what i am looking for.......
