| Its my birthday this week, yes my first week on TF lol. I'd planned to have a BBQ for dinner and the kids were going to make patty cakes which I was going to try to pretend to nibble then put it aside, just to please them. I was going to keep to my 2 shakes earlier in the day and stay within the program. Only problem, my parents now want to take me out to lunch. My question is - if I have protein and salad (thinking thai beef salad seeing we are going to an asian restaurant) should I skip my shake at lunch to make up for the protein??? Or should I attempt to split my protein between both lunch and dinner??? Thanks

thanks babe, I'll give them a call. I looked up a few other restaurants, might suggest we go to La Porchetta instead so I can order a big tossed salad.

Chicken (or beef) and Vegetables is ok from an asian restaurant and it will not be a full protein serve. Otherwise go for a salad with a small amount of protein on the side and skip the shake, so only have 1 shake that day. Just stay away from rice, pasta, potato and bread and you should be ok.
