Hey everyone, I dont know whether there has already been a thread about this, but I was at the shops yesterday, and I found some soups that are under 5g carbs/100g. They were all pretty good for fat aswell, good idea if you wanna put more allowable veg in and bulk them up abit...
They are
Campbells Chicken Noodle 3.9g Carbs/100g
Heinz Very Vegetable 8 Veg 4.6g Carbs/100g
Campbells Country Ladle Chicken & Pasta 4.8g Carbs/100g
Heinz Very Special Country Chicken 4.6g Carbs/100g
Country Ladle Whole Grain Chicken & Veg w/ wholegrain Pasta 3.4g Carbs/100g

I'm thinking that the soups would not be suitable whilst on the TF weight loss program but maybe ok when on maintenance. I am not sure where we would fit them in either. Unless they were used as a treat option????? Maybe the original poster could ask in the TF questions section.
ON TF MAINTENANCE SINCE 11/08/09 AND KEEPING IT OFF! v In 42 weeks (14/10/08 – 24/8/09) TOTAL WEIGHT LOST 40.5 KILOS! v I started at 110.4 kilos and dropped to 70 kgs. v My waist measurement dropped from 98 cm to 74cm. 24CM LOST! v I started out as a size 18/20 top & 22/24 bottom. I am now a size 10-12. v My BMI was 39.2 which was obese. I am now in a healthy weight range. v THANKS TF I COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!

| The reason that tinned and packet soups are not allowed on TF is that they are much too high in salt - if they contain over 400mg of salt per 100g then they will make you retain water. To be honest, I look for foods that are less than 200mg of salt per 100g or I tend to retain water. Also the ones with pasta or potato would not be allowed because those foods are not on the program.
