| i just had a look at http://www.kfc.com.au/pdf/cayan-nutritional-information.pdf and checked out the fat, protein and carb content of the new KFC Cayan Grill chicken fillets - it looks TF friendly to me? a friend had some on the weekend and i tried a bit and it was reeeeally nice (i thought) so i was thinking i could get some of this every now and then and add it to my own salad? what do people think? any objections? have i missed something that means it doesn't fit? thanks

I thought I would let everyone know, after reading that this is "allowed" I went to kfc with my partner and tried it. You can actually have the fillet in one of their salads and all the veges are allowed which is great. I said no to the dressing (didn't trust it. ha ha) and we sat in the restaurant (him with his fatty burger and chips and me with my salad) chowing down on some really nice food!! The best part about TF, for me, is that it doesn't disrupt my eating patterns or plans with my partner and it's good to know there are options out there for me. Loved it and will definitely go back for more!!
Starting weight: 82.1kgs 19th June 09 - 81.8kg = 300grm loss 26th June 09 - 80.7 = 1.1kg loss 3rd July 09 - 79.6 = 1.1kg loss - Getting there!! Slow and steady! 10th July 09 - 78.6 = 1kg loss 17th July 09 - 77.2 = 1.4 loss 24th July 09 - 76.3 = 0.9 loss 31st July 09 - 76.3 = No loss! 7th Aug 09 - 74.5 = 1.8kg loss 14th Aug 09 - 75.7 = 1.2 gain - odd few weeks, stuck to the programme 100% and got a no loss, then huge loss, then gain! 21st Aug 09 - 75.1 = 0.6 loss - better than nothing... but still confused as to why the body has given up!

| Totally agree, we had it on Thursday night and it allowed me to just have the fillets while the family had their usual burgers and chips. Great find !!

Had this as well , felt strange going into KFC but was really happy to walk out with something healthy. Looks like the big food chains are finally realising what a society we are becoming and they are trying to change the food the sell .. Loved the taste of the fillet as well

Can I ask what the salads at KFC are like and what they have in them?? I didn't even know you could get a salad there. Does it come in a bowl. I refuse to buya salad from Maccas ever again as they are just complete #$%@. My only real choice here is subway so it would be good if KFC did a great salad too.
ON TF MAINTENANCE SINCE 11/08/09 v In 42 weeks (14/10/08 – 10/8/09) I lost 38.4 kilos. I am now in a healthy weight range. v THANKS TF I COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!

KFC in NSW do not sell salads, except coleslaw which is not TF friendly. I'm not sure what the other states sell. I usually buy the Cayan Fillet to have with a salad at home.
