Hi all!!!
I'm having dinner at a tapas bar in the city tonight -MOVIDA (pre booked from 3 weeks ago)!!
I am a bit scared I really dont wont to over stuff up!! I'm in my first week and I have done so well so far.
The girl at TF said i should maybe skip my shake at lunch and have a salad or vegies instead?
Has anyone been to a tapas bar? I've never been to one and dont know what to expect or what to order??
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

| Hi, Check out their menu (i've attached it to this post or go to www.movida.com.au ) After looking, i think the most TF friendly versions seem to be as follows: TAPA section: (dishes for 1) 1. Pollo escabache al Miguel - Spiced chicken escabache tapa on crouton (skip the crouton if you can!) 2. Viera - Roasted Spring Bay Scallop with Jamon and potato foam (skip the foam) 3. Costilla con sobrasada - Roast lamb cutlet encased in a Catalan pork & paprika pate (pate ain't good but as the rest is protein it's better than some of the other menu options) RACION section: (dishes shared between 2 or 3 people) 1. Aceitunas - Marinated green olives with citrus, garlic and thyme 2. Carillera de buey - Slowly braised beef cheek in Pedro Ximenez on Cauliflower puree 3. Asadillo - Marinated roast capsicum & tomato salad in Moorish spices 4. Setas asado con jerez - Oven roasted portabello mushrooms finished with sherry vinegar 5. Ensalada valenciana - Valencian salad, endive, orange, palm hearts (don't think these are TF friendly so try to give most of them a miss) and manzanillo olives. Dessert section: None of these look very friendly so use your descression. Maybe have a cup of tea or coffee ??? I'm sure they'd do a salad for you or something if you asked too, and remember to drink LOTS of water! Hope this helps
