So... I'm at the stage where toning is just as important as weight loss. I think I've been a bit lazy to be honest, just relying on a short walk every day and 1-2 pilates or yoga classes per week. Need to move my body! I read about Tracy Anderson, and although I don't agree with all her methods, her "tinyest body" routines make lots of sense - just move lots every day really. So for the rest of this month I will post the exercise I have done (it takes 3 weeks to form a habit) and then I hope I won't need this thread and will have formed a good habit for life!  D x

Day 1, 10 AUGUST- 30 minutes walk to gym
- 1 hour pilates class
Off to buy my own yoga mat after class, and some new trainers with my boy who also needs some. His brand new (not cheap) adidas pair went MIA when he moved house Excited!! What colour should I get?

Day 2, 11 AUGUST- 30 minutes powerwalk to station and back (hills)
- 40 minutes walk to cafe and back with the boy

Not sure whether I'll go to an extra pilates class tomorrow or not (so much study to do!)

Day 3, 12 AUGUST- 20 minutes walk (hills)
- 1.5 - 2 hours shopping with a friend
(500g loss this week... not too shabby )

| Day 5, AUGUST 14 I wish I had more time to take classes at the gym! They're so much fun, but 90% of them are when I'm working/at uni. Boo. More walkies today.

| hi driven! love this thread! I am also aiming to stick to my training program so that i tone up/shed a few kgs... I started TF today and kicked the day off with a 1 hr windtrainer session (bike) with my personal trainer. Did a reformer pilates class last night too.

Thanks Katie_Sue! Are you liking Pilates? I love it, am thinking about going to 2 sessions of pilates instead of 1 pilates, 1 yoga. If I manage my time well I should be able to fit in all 3  Day 5, AUGUST 15 - 15 mins walk (hills)
- 2 hours shopping
- 5 hours walk (work)
Went to a dinner and spoke to a lady who did Bikram Yoga... am inspired to start, I think there are about 6 places which offer Bikram in Melbourne so will do a bit more research and keep you posted! Have been thinking about iceskating or rollerblading with the boy - how retro hehe. Working all day tomorrow, and then out to a birthday dinner

Day 6, AUGUST 16- 8 hours work (retail, on feet)
- 15 mins walk (hills)
Day 7, AUGUST 17 - 4 hours shopping - good company (had no idea we walked for so long, in heels too!)
Planning more gym exercise, most of my exercise is incidental these days
