| thought I'd let you all know I'm starting a 10 Day Detox as of today! The plan is the Tony Robbins 10 Day Challenge and pretty much eliminates all the nasties from our bods giving us a 'fresh start'...it is spring afterall. If you're not currently following TF, or want a spring break, join me in cleaning out your bod! - Fruit low GI - no limit
- Vegetables - no limit
- No alcohol
- No coffee
- 20min exercise each day
- No meat, seafood, poultry or processed meats
Pretty much if you follow for 10 days. Eating "nothing with a head" concept you will be sticking with the plan. Any grains must be wholegrain and cheese is only allowed as a condiment i.e. a light sprinkle on a salad Nuts, grains are all good in their raw state. Consider starting the day with a homemade vege juice. This isn't a challenge challenge, if anyone joins the thread there is no pledge, or spreadsheet. Just see if you don't feel a whole lot better after a big 'clean out'. I've done this detox before many moons back and did lose weight, but that's not the focus. It's a cleansing diet first and foremost to give you energy and renewed enthusiasm and only 10 days.

| Ok so that's one day down.... phew! Not bad at all - was nice to eat loads of yummy fruits Breakfast I had seeds/nuts with a dollop of natural yoghurt Lunch - Great big salad with seeds, fruit for after Dinner - Scrummy stir fry vege with chilli and garlic. Loads of fruit during the day - plums, tamarillo's, 1xsmall banana, rock melon and DECAFF coffee... that's a big one for me, bit of a headache but so far so good! Water as well of course, starting the day with warm water and a squeeze of lemon. - Bring on day 2!

| Alrighty.... Day2 Started out well with warm water and lemon juice - apparently this is good for keeping things regular for all those out there suffering with constipation! and it's true, I've 'been' both days which is a miracle in itself lol 2 plums and a small bobby banana for breakfast/midmorning Lunch - I went out with a friend so the choices were limited. I decided up on a caesar salad without the bacon/eggs which really made it 'just a salad' - a bit uneventful, they didn't even make it fab it was like a bowl of nothing. Ahhh well, ya get that. Dinner - I'm having vege's and more vege's - Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts and Mushrooms, sounds odd when you say it all together but I'm looking forward to it. - No wonder I'm SO windy!

it does sound interesting - all the best with it! a few years ago I did a detox - I think it was Blackmores brand - the one in the red and blue box - says it's an "intestinal broom" on the front - did it for 14 days - it came with a DVD booklet and loads of herbal tablets I lived on goats fetta salad sandwiches on 10 grain bread ( at lunchtime) brekkie was wholegrain porridge water canned pear juice (yummo) unlimited fruit and veggies , meat of any kind wasn't allowed - you could eat fish - (but I don't) wholegrains , lentils , so could make home made minestrone and lentil dahl over brown rice - it was a great way to eat - I felt like I was eating comfort food by the end of it - my skin looked smooth and clear - and the whites of my eyes were super white(sounds strange but they were) - and raw almonds were my best friend- my tummy flattened really quickly and I lost 6 kilos in those 2 weeks - hope you have as good results!!!
 my mini goals:- 100 kilos 95 kilos 90 kilos 85 kilos 80 kilos 75 kilos 70 kilos
