Wishful - GO YOU!  I think you can be the bouncy success story this time... I'm just not quite there.

I totally hear you - infact - before I started this crusade a year ago or so I never felt guilty!  Now I eat 'off plan stuff' with guilt all the time.  I HATE IT.... which is why last time I did this detox, I actually felt really good but yes, sometimes you just want cheese on toast and ya know...it shouldn't mean blow the diet.  I think if you have a one off here or there then it doesn't but I can definately not have things like bread etc. daily without gaining - it's a bit pathetic really but that' show my body works.

Today I started out well with my muesli and if anything I haven't had enough.  The scales were up again this mornign.  Was going to have fresh mussels for dinner, but with Z coming over (she hates mussels!) I ended up making a chicken curry - on rice! aaaaargh

Will it ever end

Howdy

Day 4 nearly over - and still I haven't stumbled!  I've decided I'm going to treat myself to a luxe facial if I get through the full 10 days. Better start saving up - it might just happen!

Jend - thanks for the encouragement.

San - I know how you feel with your head wanting one thing, and then your emotions make you do the opposite. Soooo frustrating. But, your head needs to be in the right place for anything to happen. Your joy last time you did the challenge was the inspiration for me to give it a go - but as you know I've had my struggles and it's taken until now for the planets to be in alignment and for my head and emotions both to want the same thing. Hang in there, your mojo will come back I'm sure.

Sounds like a pretty good way to kick start the system into losing the excess weight, i am thinking about giving it a go, or maybe not thinking just doing it.

cheers

Started my 10 day detox today.... it's a bit of a blend of other detox programs...plenty of fruit Low GI....veg non starchy of course and a little added protein twice a day....some raw nuts and seeds and pulses such as lentils and chickpeas.
So I'll be having egg whites, natural yoghurt, fish or chicken twice a day as my protein oh and maybe a lilttle lo fat fetta on my salad.

It may not be such a strict detox compared to others but the way I've been travelling lately it shall be a huge improvement...
so I start today at 124.8 kg (CRAP)
finish wed morning the 18th Nov...then back on TF till XMAS Day

Girls it really does work - and it's not all that strict really.

Good luck to all those giving it a go, or variations of.  I'm trying to get my head back in the space it needs to be in - the NO CHOCOLATE OR FISH N CHIP SPACE... aaaargh, can hardly fit my clothes!

Starting AGAIN tomorrow - weighing in at 136.8kg EEEEK!

Well, I was going great guns with the detox - until Friday night bookclub. And then, there was wine, there was pide, there was Lindt dark. I've spent the weekend trying to get back in the groove, but no joy. I will be there with you guys starting again tomorrow. I was feeling so good on the detox - just gotta get back to it.
