| Hi everyone, I am also starting the program again tomorrow. I started in early 2007 and lost 20kgs after 8 months, but as usual after the weight loss I decided to go back to the old pizza and chips. I am now heavier than I was when I started last time so I have decided to start again, and KEEP IT UP THIS TIME!!! I didnt use the blogs last time so I am hoping that they will provide me with some sort of encouragement on the days when I can smell the deep fried goodies calling. Wishing everyone the best of luck and declining kilos.

Been a while since my last update... I missed two weeks of weigh-ins (picking up my wife from the airport and just plain forgot the next haha) so my results this week represent 3 weeks worth of work
I lost 4kg and another 6cm, that leaves my stats at 10 weeks like this
Start Weight - 130.4kg
Start Waist - 137cm
Current Weight - 110.7 (I had breakfast before going, so I know I was carrying a "bit extra")
Current Waist - 113cm
That's effectively 20kg and 24cm!
I'm only a bit over 10kg to my "initial" goal now (99kg by Xmas). Going at my current rate, I should hit it by the end of November .
This may or may not change though because I'm slowly ramping up the weights work I have been doing three times a week. Even if the actual weight loss slows down a tad, as long as my measurements keep decreasing, I'll be happy

~~Mountain-Maiden~~ (4/11/2009)thats pretty cool that your sooo close to your goal bulk -- thats soo cool
I should note... 99kg is just my "short term" goal. Ideally I'd like to get down to 90kg but completely change my body shape (ie, replace fat with muscle)
Once I get down low enough to start riding again, I will probably have to change my diet up. I used to be an OBSESSIVE rider and I live right next to the M7 bike path in Sydney, so I think I'll be doing it at least once a day... coupled with the weights training, I'm not sure if the diet "as it is now" will provide enough. I won't be destroying the work I've done to lose the weight, but I don't want to hamper my ability to build muscle at the same time
