| Hi all, I too have been on TF before with great success, but since going off the rails have piled all the weight back on. Too make things worse my sister started TF at the same time as me and has reached her goal weight and kept it off. I keep starting again and again on the quest for weight loss but can not seem to make it passed a week. In my heart I want to be skinny. In my head all that I can hear is that it is TOO HARD or I will start next week. Some times with the best of intentions I eat something without even thinking about it, then it is too late and I think well I might as well enjoy it as I have just stuff up the weight loss for another 2 days. I figure I need some to be my buddy through the thick and the thin, no just tell me how much weight they have lost. Is there anyone out there that can help me. I look like I am 7 months pregs but I am not even pregs and my husband does not find my sexually attractive at the moment even though he says that he does, but actions speak louder than words, and I would say that the lack of sex over the past year( 3 times) would speak heaps. So please can someone help me and my sex life. P.S When I lose the weight and things still aren't improving then at least I might be to someone else...... Thanks in advance.
Tracey

START DATE 5/1/09 WEIGHT 70.4 kgs WEEK 1 07/1/09 LOSS 1.8 kgs WEEK 2 14/1/09 LOSS 0.3 kgs WEEK 3 21/1/09 GAIN 0.2 kgs WEEK 4 28/1/09 LOSS 1.3 kgs

| If your husband says he finds you sexually attractive then he does - if he is not responding to you, it is because you are sending the wrong signals and that is because of the way you feel about yourself. You are the most beautiful woman in his eyes, no doubt. but you have to believe it yourself to send him the right messages. Make a nice dinner for both of you (TF friendly of course, if you don't have the recipe books, I suggest you get them. There are so many great recipes in there). Stop looking at yourself as looking like you are 7 months pregnant and start looking at yourself as a work in progress. Lots of us take two steps forward and one step back - so long as you are on the right track, you will get there. Also, don't compare yourself with your at goal sister - these sorts of comparisons will do your head in. Start thinking about you. Set yourself some REALISTIC goals, say a half a kilo a week - that is 2kg a month. If you make goal that month, have a NON FOOD reward (facial, new lippy, movies etc) - even better if you do more kg's. But if you set easy to make goals, then you are more likely to stick with it then if you say you want to lose 10kg in 10 weeks (which is entirely possible for some people but not all - we all lose at different rates, so no comparing yourself against others progress anymore). Hang in there, you can do it but do it for you. Not how you think your OH sees you because believe me, they don't look at us like we look at ourselves.

| Have you read the book "Weight Loss for Food Lovers"? You can get it at the TF clinics. It is a great book that goes into why people are overweight and why they stay that way. It looks into the pschological reasons behind being overweight. I found it to be very helpful and it helped me to change my thinking about food and about myself. I have found as I got healthier, lost weight and starting exercising that my sex drive has improved because I am less tired and have many more good endorphins in my body. I also feel more in control of my life so this impacts on my ability to relax and unwind. No one can get you into the right frame of mind to lose weight. It has to come from you. Good Luck
ON TF MAINTENANCE SINCE 11/08/09 AND KEEPING IT OFF! v In 42 weeks (14/10/08 – 24/8/09) TOTAL WEIGHT LOST 40.5 KILOS! v I started at 110.4 kilos and dropped to 70 kgs. v My waist measurement dropped from 98 cm to 74cm. 24CM LOST! v I started out as a size 18/20 top & 22/24 bottom. I am now a size 10-12. v My BMI was 39.2 which was obese. I am now in a healthy weight range. v THANKS TF I COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!

| Hi there... I have never posted before but after reading yours, I had to respond. My situation is so similar to yours its nuts. My sister did the TF program last year and lost over 20kg. I have always been the smaller one, but no more. I tried TF early this year, dropped about 8kg then went off the rails and put it all back on.... plus more. I think I need a buddy too. I am 5ft 3inches and weigh 73.5kg right now (Started at 78kg about 4 weeks ago). I am also working out 5 times per week, but am having at least one day a week where I do something naughty..... So self defeating, but I cant seem to get myself in gear at all. Want to set a goal and offer each other some support?
