Hi All,

I have continued to read a lot of the "Fallen off the Wagon" posts and it seems like we are all having the same problems.

We come off for one reason or another and when we try to get back on we cant!

My issue is that I have no problems doing the shakes - I actually think its more convenient in my job. However my issue is when it comes to the weekends. I dont have a temptation for bread - my issue is when I am home all day and I get peckish. I look at my jelly and go "thats for later" so I find something else.

I think I have tried to jump back on this wagon now about 3 times and I continue to fail. I beat myself up inside because of what I am doing but I have no self control.

I now just feel like giving up but at the same time I want to be a skinnier/healtheir person for the future.

Is there any hope?

Hi

I went on the program in October last year and lost about 12 kilos, but then I fell off the wagon and put most of it back on. Now back on the wagon again.

I was the same - when I'm home, I get peckish with food I shouldn't eat and before you know it, the weight piles back on. I've told my mum to throw all the confectionery out and now rely only on the sugarless sweets they sell at TF stores if I really need a chocolate hit. Seems to be working - I've lost 2kg since I've started again. I'm happy.

Hope it works out for you.

Im now on my 4th day and it I feel better. Im hoping that there is some improvement. All I need to see again is the MINUS and I will feel like its all worth it. This will give me hope and then its all about keeping up witht he program and not losing site of what I want.

I know what you mea. When I started the first time - it was easy. So I fell off the wagon and I try to get on the wagon but somehow just somehow I am wobble - i can't seem to get my rythm and motivation back so falling becomes easier . I desperately looking for motivation where ever I can get it. Perhaps we can motivate each other?

Hi, i'm having a lot of trouble too, I started last week and didn't loose anything even though i kept to the program.. and I didnt buy any shakes and stuff for this week because i dont have a great deal of money since im only working part time at Target (im 19 lol) so this week i've just been trying to eat mostly veggies and stuff but still havnt lost anything
I dunno if its really worth me buying the shakes every week if nothings happening.
but maybe I should ask parents for help?
what do you guys think? try it again for a few more weeks and see what happens??

Hi there,

I'm new to this whole forum thing but not so new to TF.

I started in Jan. this year & had a good little start, but then had major knee surgery. I thought this would be fine, stick to Tony, maintain if not drop more weight & recover. What I wasn't expecting was how hungery I was during recovery.  I was able to eat anything & I did drop weight but the then the weight just came back on.

I keep trying to get back in to the swing of it but am still having so much trouble with my appertite thanks to physio requirements (at least 3 weight or spin classes per week). I figure I am going to gain weight thanks to muscle bulk (re-building my quad) so count on my waist measurements. But when that goes up, that's it for me, bring on the evil food!

How do you beat the cravings? I think Bellbottom has it right, we have to support each other.

Hey guys

Those who are having trouble with cravings, head down to tf and speak to the consultants - chromium plus helps with the cravings, and works for 5 hours i beleive. At my chemist its right where all the tf items are I also grabbed the multivitamins and fibre capsuals while i was there also

I saw an interim plan down in the ask our staff section for when you run out of shakes - http://forum.tonyferguson.com/Topic311919-8-1.aspx is the link - that might be of some help.  Im sure if you email the consulatants they will help you with any concerns also

As for the question, should i leave it a few more weeks, take a look at the before during and after pics - im sure you will come to your own conclusion

It seems like there are more people who are having the same issues. We all knew it was going to be hard so now we just have to be strong and move forward with the program.

Well its Monday and I weighed myself of Saturday - and walked out with a 1.7kg loss. I had a smile on my face when I left, but now the hard bit happens when I need to weigh in every week and ensure that I keep up the losses.

I am deffinately happy to help motivate - and do it together. I guess it will be good to speak about our every day struggles.

Second Solution: I also know how hard it is to keep motivated when you dont lose anything. thats been my issue for a while and still is. All I can say is that you just have to move on to the next week and really push for that improvement. Do your parents know that your on the program? If so then maybe you could say that you will by 1/2 and they buy the other. Possible make a deal with them that you will lose weight if they help. This could be a great motivating factor. However in saying that if your losing weight and they dont know then how can they be there to help?

Well thats it for my Monday speil hopefully we'll keep up the work and results will show

Regards
