Hi guys

I got some blueberries the other day from woolies, we have never had them before anyway, we are not that keen on them - i dont know if they are suppose to be tasteless with like a grape type texture inside.  Has anyone got any ideas on what we can do to use them up - its not common for 5 of us to not like something - so i dont know if they arent ripe or if they are just tasteless

Help please

I love them with Jelly. I buy the boxes of mixed berries, make the jelly until it is half set and then put the berries on top. Delish

You could probably make pancakes from a shake mix like the Vanilla one and add the berries and make Blueberry pancakes??

Hi you can add them into ur muffins when turning ur vanilla shake into a muffin and when u make ur chocolate shake into hot pudding add them , but dont forget to count them in as ur fruit allowance for the day

Well the flavour usually enhances when you cook them..sugar and citrus when cooking can bring it out more too.....they are acidic when they are young and unripe...but have a mellow sweet taste to them when they are more ripe....its a subtle flavour though.....so tasteless (when eaten raw) could be the right word....ahahaha......it all depends on the seasons too....more flavour when grown in season....I didnt even think they were in season now??? or did u get the frozen ones.

Ahhh well I think they are out of season so probably not as tasty...i find supermarket ones bland at the best of times. Frozen ones seem overly tart....just cant win haha.

Chook balls were a hit!!! I licked my bowl clean, lucky I only cooked enough for me and my son (partner is too fussy for things like that!) cause I wouldve gone for a 2nd helping
