First of all let me say congratulations to everyone that has had a loss so far this week. Go you good things!!

Next, can I ask if anyone is having similar thought processes to me?

I keep looking at the calendar and counting how many days I've been on TF, how many days to Christmas and then my goal weight. Then I calculate in my head that if in the three weeks I've been doing TF I've lost 8kg and there's roughly 7 weeks left to Christmas, I wonder that, if I push myself, I can lose another 16kg in those 7 weeks to Christmas. That means that I will only be 9kg from my goal weight. I mean, I lost 8kg in the first three weeks so why not?? Then that little voice of reason flies on in with "the first few kilograms are always the easiest to lose, the last ones are the hardest and take the longest" and "Don't be ridiculous, 16 kg in 7 weeks is excessive and you'd have to push yourself too hard for too long and the weight would be hard to keep off after that". Then of course you have the two year old tantrum on one side of your head saying, I want it off now!! With the other side saying be patient!!

Sound familiar to anyone??

Then on top of all that I have to concentrate on controlling my food cravings.

No wonder I'm so very tired at the end of each day with all the arguing that's going on inside my head!!

Hi everyone,  I weighed in with a loss of 700grams today and Im just happy to be that little bit closer to my goal.

Congratulations to all of you on your losses so far and good luck for the coming week.

Shezn, 3.5 is an amazing acheivement. Also with your inner arguments, when Ive tired myself from arguing I end up with the resolve that I will stay as positive as I can and acheive as much as possible during that time. Its a good thing to look ahead at what could become, if your aiming for 16 kg in 7 weeks, then its that determination that will get you as close as possible to that goal, anything is possible.  Just your acheivements so far on the program has boosted my determination.

tori xx

Hi all,

Haven't checked in for a while, it's been a big week and a half with the Melb Cup Carnival!

I'm feeling so guilty at the moment about my efforts this past week. I have definitely been splurging with food and alcohol with a few celebrations and events over the long weekend and the following week, this was followed by another night of over indulgence last night and today with a weekend away with my family!

I was prepared with my shakes and everything but just no will power at all!!! Grrr....I'm really annoyed at myself. Some I'm hoping that I can get my butt into gear for the next 3 days and hopefully I won't have put on weight for the next weigh in.

I need to try and be positive I know and try and turn myself around, but I just feel really guilty.

So I'll try and put on a braver face, eat right and really hit the exercise for the next 3 days for my weigh in on Tuesday.

Wish me luck!

Here's to a healthier life...and a smaller me :-)

Can I join in? I'd LOVE to lose another 10kg!!! I weigh in every 2 weeks but I'll post the results. I must admit, I would be most surprised if I lost that much but it won't be from not trying!
