| I came across at SAFEWAY in melbourne, ready to go chicken peices (140gms) that you can use in wraps and salads, for busy ppl who have no time to grill chicken breasts etc:.. it is like the chicken peices used at subway. It was $3.60 and i used only half in my salad tonight... its just alot easier when i'm in a rush to open the packet and throw it in some salad mix and a bit of dressing and then i'm off. The brand is "bite me"... and is in the cold section with the ham, salami, yoghurt etc:.. Maybe it has been around for some time... but it was new to me.. so had to share...

| I get one similar, but its in a big packet -- the girls have finished it off as i cant find the packet. But i think its made by steggles?? Look in the freezer secton near where they have the chillli chicken peices. Its go no additives, no salt no skin just meat Its a 2kg bag and its skinless chicken peices, and it costs between $10-$15 Be careful though as they do have a skin on one also. The girls love to have them in chicken and gravy rolls, or in wraps but they are good for everything BTW - it is cheaper if you can get to a food wholesaler to buy these things, as they come right down in price (see who supplies resturants etc and see if they sell direct to the public)

I bought these today at Safeway for $3.99.
Had a taste before, a bit salty and they do taste processed. When I put it in a container you realise how little you get
I don't think i'd get them again, instead i'd just cook up chicken breasts and keep them in the fridge (why didn't I think of that before?) however, I think if time is an issue or you need to get something quick for lunch at the supermarket they would be handy
